I also just want to add - when we went last year, our server Jethro was very low-key. I think the more into it you are, the more into it your server will be. They don't really pick on people like they do at 50s Prime Time, it's just more silly antics. Besides that, the food is good enough that your FIL will enjoy the meal anyway. Good luck!

I went to WCC in '09 and will not go back. The food was meh and they had to get me a different fork.....it was still dirty. Eeeewww.

I didn't get any antics until someone put a ketchup bottle on my table (a guest). Other people in the restaurant without kids were treated the same way I noticed. I may go back when I have kids, but not until.

WCC isn't about eating in peace. Very loud, very active restaurant. Stick pony races, singing, servers banging on trays and the dinner bell. It's all about the antics, not the food, and the servers will assume that's why you're there unless told otherwise.

Seriously, if you want to play along, you'll have a good time. If you want a quiet meal with good food, go somewhere else. Good alternate choices in the area would be Kona Cafe at the Poly, the Wave at CR, or the GF Cafe.
