and I'll be in the Magic Kingdom with my 22 month old niece. I just can't wait.

I've been so consumed with packing my son up (he's taking a semester at Disney College) that I forgot to obsess about going to Disney for 5 days with my brother-in-law and his family. We're Boardwalk owners but since we only booked in November, we'll be staying at Saratoga Springs. 2nd trip this year away from my Boardwalk, I don't know how I'll handle it.

It'll be such a blessing to be with my little niece; ever since she was born, I've been Disnifying her. She can name most of the characters and attractions, now we're working on the hotels. 5 character meals. My boys are 17 and 21, while they still get psyched about going to Disney, that little kid magic just isn't there anymore. Imagine 5 days with my little princess in the Magic Kingdom and then my kid gets the inside track on Disney for 5 months. What more could a mother/aunt ask for?

Since we're eating at a lot of hotels, do you think it would be best to walk over to DTD and take a shuttle from there? Maybe I should just wait until we get our room assignment and try to figure it out from there.

Have a wonderful vacation. Happy New Year. :Pinkbounc

We are planning a great-niece trip also. She will be 16 months old when we take her (and her parents and her grandparents!) in November 06. The moment I was her my first thought was, "I can't wait to take you to WDW."
I know she will be a little young, but I still think we'll have a great time.

It really doesn't matter what they remember, it's what we remember about the trip that we'll never forget. I took my, now 17 year old, when he was 18 months old. We've got tons of pictures and I could still tell you every minute of the trip; it was the first week of December 1989 and we were staying at the Grand Floridian. He was afraid of the characters at first but Chip & Dale worked at making him fall in love with them and my little prince was hooked. Of course he had no idea we were coming home, when he realized the vacation was over and we were back in our own home, he kicked the door and said he wanted to go by Mickey. Now that's what I do when we come home.

There's nothing like Disney with a little one. I thank God for my little princess. My little special little gift from heaven came on my husband's birthday 4 years after his death and for all the joy she's given me over the past 21 months, I'm just thrilled to give her the gift of the Magic Kingdom. We are going to have so much fun.
