Just 3 More Nights To Go!!

Just cant contain my excitement!!...We are off to Disney on Tuesday to Caribbean Beach...My two boys aged 6 & 12 just cannot wait the excitement and noise in this house is at a all time high!!. Yes I know I have put 3 nights to go and its Friday night but as we have to get up at 4.00 in the morning on Tuesday my boys are insisting we cannot include Monday night as a night!!. I have yet to do any 'holiday' ironing or packing...infact this time last week we were not sure if we could go as I was rushed into hospital for 2 days with a severe chest and sinus infection. I am dopped up with tablets and antibiotics but today is the first days I have my sense of smell back and feel a little human!!. We have today told the boys I have the all clear to fly as we were not sure until the doctors visit this morning!!. Now they are really excitied"...The countdown can finally re begin!!

I am so pleased for you that it has worked out ok in the end. I know how you must be feeling - last September we were all set to go to WDW for my brother's wedding when my DH did his back in. He couldn't move and it looked like it was all going to go wrong especially as brother and future wife were staying with us at our DVC timeshare!

DH ended up on anti-inflammatories, painkillers and valium and was only ok 2 days before we flew - it was awful now knowing and thinking our holiday may be cancelled.

Go and have a great time, those are great ages to take the kids at!!

I feel as if I have had no sleep for weeks...originally from Excitement then at hspital and then cause I have been so 'bunged up'!!. My 12 old came into the bathroom this evening whilst I was in the batch and 'thanked' me for getting better...tonight they have talked about it non stop and I know now that this week they must have been in a panic as tey never talked about it all week hardly (poor kids its been delayed once as we were suppose to go in June but my dad had a heat attack!!...jsut fingers crossed there are no major hiccups between now and Tuesday!!)...its been booked and planned now for 18 months!!

Sorry for the spelling...my 6 year old is up again asking if Tinkerbell might visit him before we go (we use her as the tooth fairy....and yes she is visiting with a couple of under the pillow gifts!!)

It funny how you need a holiday to recover from a holiday All the planning,stress and worry is worth it in the end

As I am really new to this...I dont know what/how to do a 'trip report'

its really easy just take a notebook and jot down a few thoughts on the day ( i do it in the evening ) and then come back and tell us all your highs and lows ( not many of them hopefully )

I cant pack yet as I have about 6 hours of ironing to do whch is planned for this afternoon/evening....Promise I will start packing Sunday night/monday morning!!

Have a really great time. I know how you must've been feeling as we had to cancel a wonderful holiday to the Far East last September the DAY BEFORE we were due to travel because I had fierce Sciatica. The long flight would have really compromised my back and could have caused permanent damage. So glad you are able to go - we go in 11 days!

***UPDATE***

Spent the last 5 hours ironing and putting it away...now I am totally up to date with it!!. Just 2 more washes before we go!!
Suitcases were got out from the loft by hubbie when it was half time in the England match!.
Going to do a packing list in the morning, get my haircut (the Sister In Law) and go to my parents for a farewell Roast Dinner!!. Have rang my friend to tape X Factor for the next 2 weeks. Monday the dog needs to be at poodle parlour for 10.00 before going to my parents....need to change money up...THEN PACK!!. We are leaving here at 4.00am in the morning to get to Manchester!!

****ANOTHER UPDATE*****

Hi All
I am packed and ready to go!!!. Just got teh boys to bed but they are so excited!!...We leave here in the morning at 4.30pm to get to Manchester and this time tomorrow we will be at Caribbean Beach (fingers crossed!!)

As a 'newie' I would like to thank everyone for all the info and answers to the few questions I have raised over the last couple of months. You have been great an I have much for confidence now in going!!

I will of course let you know when I get home but at the moment I cant imagine coming home!!
