and I'll be there for my very first time. My days at work are getting incredibly long and already being packed and almost ready to walk out the door isn’t helping much. So – all of you out there (and from other posts, I know there’s a lot of you) going this week-end and want one more time to jump up and down in excitement as we count down the days and hours until we’re at Walt’s park – join in and post here.

I'll be there on Friday! I wish I could say I was as ready as you are, but I'm getting there! I haven't actually packed yet, but I've got clothes in piles of what I want to pack! Our trip is a surprise, so I can't really pack too much ahead of time, if the kids saw the suitcases that would be a big hint we were going somewhere!

We leave Wednesday afternoon and are coming back home on the 20th. We went last year the week before Christmas but since our train was delayed for a day and a half, we got 1/2 our fare back. Instead of going somewhere else, we decided to go BACK to DL. At first it was a surpise for our middle child (youngest too little and oldest helped plan) but the cat is out of the bag tonight! My DH announced it to everybody at karate class! Oh well, part of the fun is anticipation....

We are leaving Friday returning Monday. We are 80% packed but 100% ready to go! Soooo excited!!

We're leaving Chicagoland Saturday morning--plan to be in DL by 2:00 p.m. that day!
Taking my parents for their first time as well as an exchange student from Holland!
Staying at the Grand Californian til Tuesday, then we drive down to San Diego for a few days.
Can't wait! But haven't started packing yet.

On Friday, my boys are both in school; my husband and I will wrap up getting everything packed and loaded in the car and will be picking up the little one from kindergarten at 12:30. Two hours later, we will be picking up the 6th grader and hitting the road. Depending on our dinner plans (and whether there is fog on Hwy 5), we should be checking in to the DLH by 10:00 at the latest! Saturday morning we hit the parks! Our return trip will be sometime on Tuesday afternoon/evening, depending on how tired the kids are and what the crowds are like. This is my younger son's first trip and we are all very, very excited!!!

Thanks for posting that. I just saw the other thread stating that it was in the 90's today. I'm basically packed with long sleeved (but light weight) tops and a light jacket for nights. After seeing the other post, I was afraid that I would burn up!
