Hi DIS friends!!!

I want to take a poll on a fav place to eat.

Heres a little background: I'm going down to WDW for the spring semester to work in the college program. My family and I were just in WDW in May for my college graduation (we only go to wdw every other year usually) so with my brothers spring break and my dad having a conference in Orlando at the same time, my fam has decided to come down for 5 days to see me and have a "mini vacation". I think we worked out most details, we're staying at Pop (since we paid over 350 to stay at WL in may:sad2:) and they are buying a 1 day ticket so that we can get the DDP for 5 days. I will be with them for sure 3 out of the 5 days, the 5th day they plan on using a CS and we are going to use a 2 credit one for Cali Grill (most likely) and we would like to eat at Moracco but that leaves us with 2 more choices:

we already did LTT, Concourse, Sci Fi, Coral Reef, Italy, and WCC on our last trip so we want to stay away from all of those this trip and try something new. The castle is out and so is Crystal Palace and most likely Prime Time, so does anyone have any suggestions besides those??!!!!!!

Yachtsman's Steakhouse if you want a resort restaurant, and Chefs du France if you want a park option!

Boma is our favorite buffet. Flying Fish is our splurge place.

Kona gets my vote, too. Love everything we've ever had there and go back every trip at least once, usually twice!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

wow it looks like that I'll have to check out Boma. I really wanted to do the Aloha show at Poly but my parents did that on their honeymoon in '81 and they got HORRIBLE food poisoning and they refuse to go back so we know we want to do a 2 credit place but i guess not yachtsman cuz my dad wants concourse so we'll hafta see. we're going to do some menu looking tonight.

we cant really pick popular places bc I'm not sure how my hotel discount will work bc I know we cant book the ADRS until we have our room booked so, its sooo unplanned right now and i HATE that!! but thanks for the help, I'll check out Kona and Flying Fish.

In the parks- Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion.

Out of the parks- Spoodles at the Boarddwalk.

Le Cellier - we try to eat there the first and last day of our trip. Great filet mignon!

1TS - Boma

2TS - Narcoossee's, CG may be great, have not been there, but Narcoossee's is absolutely AWESOME!!! Also GF is more interesting to explore than the Contemporary.

good choices!! we just found out last night by reading our new Disney 2008 book that Concourse is closing and The Wave is opening so its basically back to the drawing board lol.

We ate at Le Cellier our past 2 trips so that is out, we had a horrible meal our past trip there so we're taking a break from that place for awhile lol.

We def. know we're eating at Morocco and other than that we have no idea now lol. We want seafood for one and maybe good steak for the other. I suggestion Yachtsman which we may end up doing now that Concourse is closed.

It's hard to pick choices when I cant book meal ADRs until mid Jan so I'll pray we get in!!!

You can get both at Narcoossee's. I ordered the surf and turf, subbing the scallops for steak. Lots of Dissers reported loving the steak at Narcoossee's. Best thing to do is to reveiw menus and continue to read reviews and trip reports for info on the restaurants.

Happy planning!

Why can't you make ADRs at 180 days out? You don't need a trip booked to make an ADR. I've booked ADRs before booking a hotel/package before...
