Hello!
My wife and I are arriving on our first Universal trip tomorrow! One of our plans is to ride all the water rides where u get wet in one day. Can anyone tell
Me if you get wet on Jurassic Park?!

It is quite possible

Depends on the weight in the boat and where you are sitting

Some will get splashed, get wet or walk away dry

It's completely hit or miss. I've rode it and been completely dry, and rode it gotten soaked.

I agree with the above posts. It's luck of the draw where you're sat and who's in the boat with you so I'd definitely do it on your water rides day just in case!

We go on this numerous times every day we're there........it really does vary.

We have come off bone dry........a little sprinkled with water........splashed.......and downright soaked......

How the boat is loaded will change how wet or dry you get. We have sat in the first row and been totally dry.......row behind us were drenched........and sat in the back and been drenched. Varies every time.

In general, from least to most wet is:

Jurassic Park River Adventure (my experience is light to medium wet)
Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls (my experience is medium to soaked)
Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges (my experience is completely soaked every time)

The people-dryers don't seem to work very well, so we ride all 3 rides over and over, then we head back to hotel to shower and change.

We sat in the middle row two times for JP and got a little wet to not-at-all. Nothing that needed a change of clothes. We kept our sneakers on for that one. Bluto's - we got soaked. Good thing we switched to flipflops. Ripsaw - we were already soaked from Bluto, so hard to tell.

Since the question is simply, "Do you get wet?" And not asking specifically a variety of degree(s), I'd just say yes. Especially since as everyone says it varies how much you will get wet.

I think it is great some of the posters are giving us details in which rides they did and how wet or dry they were when they got off the ride

It helps me figure out what the odds are when i do the water rides

I have read before that sitting more in the middle on the JP water ride was good for not being drenched

We were nearly bone dry after JP - but I did see some people who got low - medium on the wetness scale.
And we were in the back middle on our ride.
I agree with imprint above:
Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls - very wet (but not soaked) especially from water cannons at the end.
Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges - COMPLETELY soaked. Not a dry patch of cloth on clothes or undergarments :-)

Sit behind a tall person so they take the brunt of the water heading over the boat. Works well for me.

Hahahaha
I will spend a few hours on that bridge with $20 of quarters in case there are dry peeps or some that are taking off the poncho from their head when the come round the bend

Dudleys is one ride that is hard to stay dry on

I learned quickly to understand that the drenching isn't over until I get off the ride. "Can you believe that huge drop! It was fast and we got so wet! But now it's a slow return to the exit.. Wait! Who just doused me with a water hose?!?!" Good times, good times!

One of our favourite pastimes too......love soaking folks on the Popeye ride where the showers get folks just as the ride begins........we howl with laughter at that for hours.......lol

Simple things.

We may come off Jurassic Park dry at times......but never dry on those two others.......

Is there lockers to put your stuff in or is it a good idea to bring some type of waterproof bag to keep the camera or phone dry..I will have a small crossbody purse as well.

Ah, but the water sometimes comes from the sides, like a velociraptor. :)

I never knew how beautiful being fully prepared for a soaking was until we went to USH on a 98 degree day. I wore my non-cotton hogwarts dress, athletic shorts, and flipflops. When the wave came up above and from the sides and just dumped on us, we all cheered. And then I slowly dried off over the next hour. Ahhhhh.
