Is the drop on the Jurassic Park River Adventure ride really that bad?
Do you feel like you are going to fall out the car?

I rode twice last week, it is just a little bigger than splash mountain.

"Splash Mountain"?

The only splash mountain I am aware of is the one in Great Adventures, New Jersey. LOL

It's tame and my 6 year old daughter who wont ride much of anything, loved it.

Neither my wife or I felt like we were going to fall out, its about the same as a log flume ride. Without spoiling the ride, they have animatronic distractions so the first time you ride it you may not realize the big drop is coming as you are looking elsewhere. Definately give it a try, its really fun and you don't get that wet.

It's great fun! Make sure you keep your eyes open and look ahead.

Actually, Six Flags Great Adventure has Skull Mountain, not Splash Mountain. Splash Mountain is at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.

30' bigger than Splash Mountain to be exact. ;)

And yes, many people are so focused on other surrounding that they dont realize that they're at the drop, which is over 81' down. :)

I love it!!

I still get nervous right when we get to the top but just hold on tight and take your hat off. It is awesome! And be prepared to get wet. I wear glasses and I always leave them on, so far no problems. But hopefully I will have lasik by June when we go back!!!!

Let me know how that goes for you. That's something I've been considering, but don't have the $$ for.

And do take off hats on this one, I've seen many hats be blown right off, and some are never recovered...

Well I love this ride but I always find my bum leaves the seat completely and it feels like if I didn't hold on to the front bar, I would fall out the front!!!:D

Dm, I had the lasik surgery done about 5 or 6 years ago and it was the best thing i ever did. My eyes were a little dry for a few weeks, but my vision is now 20/15. The only bad thing was that I had to wear contacts for several days after and my eyes are very sensitive, so the contacts drove me nuts. (these are put in to cover the eyes such that they can heal) Any questions, feel free to ask. Several of my friends and coworkers had it done also and all with very happy results.

Yes, but I love it!!!! It feels steep, but there is a lap bar unlike Splash Mountain.
