Jungle Jim's/Crossroads???

I hate Jungle Jims. Went ther a couple of years ago, my son got food poisoning from a hot dog there, had to ask Disney to let us reschedule our MNSSHP tickets, they did, and spent 3 days in the room. Poor kid still will not eat hot dogs!

It has been going downhill for years and this latest incident doesn't shock me. They need to get this place under control and/or shutdown. Sad. It really was a decent place at one time for an unusual burger. Burger with Peanut Butter?

Yeah, it was okay back before it started going downhill - kind of a low budget Rainforest Cafe.

Not sure how true it is but just read on another site that Jungle Jim's has now closed down for good, can anyone confirm this.

It's a shame as we have made it one of our stops on every trip since we discovered it back in '99

They always did a varied range of burgers and always provided a decent filling meal.
However on our trip last year we made two journey's, After being seated and waiting almost 20 minutes for a server to actually acknowledge us we walked out. On the second trip an order of starter and main for two people was wrong at almost every possible chance and the server had a real "so what?" attitude. This alone made us swear to give it one final chance on our next trip before never returning there again.

It's a shame really as it appears blatant that if the management had spent a little bit of money on the premises and decor they could have a decent little moneyspinner as it was always busy there and anything beats the manufactured flavourless output of McD's.
