Jungle Jims, closed?

Just read this thread below that says JJ's has closed. Anyone got a link to confirmation of this, I have googled and searched and can't find anything about it, their website is still up and running ok.

I know this is a total "well I heard from a friend that..." but I just got back from my college program in January, and my friends who are full timers down there told me last week that Jungle Jims closed.

I managed to get through my entire program without going there, so it didn't bug me. Ale House, however, I lived at. Tuesday nights ladies night, drinks for free, and who can forget those chicken nachos? They're addicting.

It is closed. The contents of the building were auctioned on 1/23. I tried to get the neon Parrot but couldn't work it out.

Those Chicken Nochos, We ordered some for 3 of us to share, we ate and ate and ate and still could not clear them, its a mountain.

You're weak, I've definitely finished them with three people

But what can I say, alcohol gives me a neverending appetite! Hence me gaining a good 13 pounds down there over 5 months, lol.

For cheap drinks and a lot better service than JJs had the past few years, try TGI Fridays across the way. Happy hour runs 4-7 and 10-close. The food is what it is--decent. Alehouse has decent food and prices as well.
