sounds awesome! probabably a refurb in the future like POC
eh -- I don't care if they make minor adjustments to the ride. (I'm amazed at how many people on DIS would rather ride the exact same ride year after year after year, over seeing some sort of new change)
To me, this ride lives/dies by the quality of the Cast Member providing the tour.

Sounds like a good idea but here is my gripe
Tim Allen is an ok actor but does anyone know why he has ONLY worked with Disney for like 20+ years now? Is Disney the only studio who will hire him? Just a quirk, I've noticed over the years.
Oh God no! They're probably going to make something cheesy and stupid, like Pirates, and then ruin the ride, like Pirates, by refurbing it to fit the film.
I'll give it a chance, but I don't have a good feeling about this.
I can't WAIT to see the Tom and Tim animatronics for it!![]()
Is it a "Curse of the Black Pearl" or "Haunted Mansion"...only time will tell.
Does it surprise anyone they got Tom Hanks? I mean, Tim Allen will do pretty much ANY piece of garbage, but Tom Hanks is pretty finicky. I can't imagine him showing up in something too bad.
I doubt you will see a refurb based on this...but also I don't get how anyone can consider adding Capt. Jack to Pirates "ruined" it...the ride barely changed.
LOL, I don't care much for the refurb but I definitely don't consider it ruined. I like the Jack at the end but he doesn't fit with all the other goofier looking animatronics in the rest of the ride. What I hate is Davey Jones on the mist screen going into the ride. He has nothing to do with the movie that the ride inspired and the old Jolly Rodgers was a lot cooler.
Still one of my favorite rides...
And this is the reason WDW is in the sad state that it is in today.
Amen, I suppose when I said animatronics I should've said mannequins since that's all they've been turning out to be lately with all the breakdowns and such...that poor yeti.
