How far in advance should we que up for the new Jungle Book show? If it starts at 9pm, would getting in line at 8:30 be ok. Or should we get there sooner because it is so new. We will be going Thursday (6/2) this week.
TIA!!

In the AK thread, @lovethattink reported they were in line by 7:30p for the 9:00 show. I believe seating choice makes a huge difference as the view may not be great from some areas.

ETA: OFFICIAL New Animal Kingdom Experiences UPDATE 5/28: Reports from first night in Post #2

WDWNT went on opening day and from what they said about the show is that if you wait in line more than 5 min you're wasting your time.

Hopefully the show gets pulled together and that's not the case. I personally would line up 30 min ahead of schedule. Anymore than that and I would skip it

We were there last night with dining package tickets. We went over around 8:15 pm and the standby line was super long. When we got to the theater, it was already pretty full with dining package and FP+ guests. I have no clue if all the standby people even got in. Seats are fine on all sides as they have stages set up in front of every seating section. That being said, the show is a dud. The performers certainly tried their best, but it's just dancing and music with movie scenes projected on water.

Did they have a way to separate the dining package line from the standby line? We are using the dining package next weekend and I didn't know how this would work.

Yes, head over to the Nemo Musical theater and you will see cast members holding signs for dining package guests. They will escort you into the theater.

So based on reviews in the other thread, it seems that if you go to the 2nd show you don't have to get there too early?

Once that video of the full show goes viral, there will be plenty of seating available. Will they improve the show? I'll bet not, it's going to be "all hands on deck" to get ROL up & running.

So I just made a last minute breakfast dining package reservation for Jungle Book. With those passes how far in advanced if at all do you need to line up?

I would like to know how far in advance you need to go to line up, if you have the JB dining package seating too.
