Hey guys just trying to get the dw to commit on a trip coming up we are kicking around the Idea of either DL in april 2006 but from what I've heard and found out spring break rates ughhhh. or waiting until ds is out of school and going in early june maybe fathers day ..????
any thoughts of june or anyones experiences with this time of year we've always gone on off time or value seasons because of crowds and weather but I'm actually getting psyched to ride soarin again

BTW does anyone know when the happiest celebration ends myself and dw were there for the opening and would like the kids to see some of the decorations

Hi Mikesluss, this is my first ever post so I hope I do it right. :rolleyes1 I haven't been to WDW in June in years, and it is so crowded may never do it again. To spoiled by off-season trips where you can walk onto everything! And I actually just got an email from Disney about the end of the Celebration and they said it ends as of October, 2006.

We just did our first June trip this year (June 6-11), and we were surprised that the crowds were not bad at all! One thing I will say is that it was HOT! I probably would not do WDW in June again for that reason alone (I sometimes get very sick from the heat). But ask me again later when I haven't been there in a few months and I might change my mind.... :rotfl2:

The farther you go into June the more crowded it gets.

Crowds start ramping up on Memorial Day weekend and get bigger every day until peaking July 4 weekend. So if you're going in June but want to avoid crowds, go early in June.

HCOE is an 18-month event that started in May so it will be around until next fall.
