june weather

hi,has anyone been to florida in june before imgoing with wife and two children on 4th june,i keep hearing it rains a lot that time of year does that mean its mostly overcast skies or will we see the sun as well ihope so thanks for any help.

Hi we went in June 2000 and yes it did rain a lot but to be truthful with you it was a blessed relief from the very hot weather. It does'nt last long and you will see plenty of sunshine.

We were there in 2001 end of May Beg of June. I wouldn't say we had a lot of rain. We had much more rain last August.

Be prepared for lots of hot sunny weather though when it does rain you WILL get wet!!!!

We went in May/June of last year and the weather was glorious!!!!

Hot not humid, I think we had one storm which was late evening.
I would pick this time of year to go over any other, and if you look at my countdown you will see we are going again at this time of year for our next trip(s).

We have been twice in early June and the weather has been HOT!
Generally it will be glorious all day until about 5:00pm when you get a very heavy shower.
The rain may last for half an hour and then the sun is back out again.
The good thing is the rain causes many people to leave the parks so the rest of the evening is less congested.

We'll be there again next year fo rthe first two weeks of June!

What about the second half of June? Anyone been then? Is it likely to be much the same as the first half, or hotter?

Next year, our only available holiday times are sometime from the middle of June to the end of August, so we thought we'd try to steal a march on the UK summer hols and go at the end of June but we thought Florida would be too hot / humid for us and have been thinking about Eurpoe instead.

Now, if anyone here could persuade us that it would be ok in Florida at the end of June ...

Went in 2002 on the 23rd of June, last year we went 9th July,this time we are going 20th June....the weather is HOT, and very humid, I think on the weather channels it was 98% humidity! which is very Humid.
The rain came around 3pm, and lasted not that long, but to be honest the rain is a blessing although it is still hot when it rains it brings the humidity down a little, and makes it more bearable.

The weather is lovely, the rain helps cool off a little but the sun is back and shining soon afterwards!

Can't really say if its the same as early june, but it is hot and very humid, but bearable if you pace yourself, and drink plenty of fluids I thought it would be too much for our 4year old but it doesnt bother her at all she loves it!....

We went last year, May 31st to June 14th. It pretty much rained every day. Apparently last year was a very wet year, so this was out of the norm, and the rain did last longer than usual.

We still had plenty of hot sunny weather, and most of the time the rain cleared within an hour or so. One thing I would advise is to get out early, as the sun always seemed to be out from around 8am - 2pm, then the rain would come.

We only had a couple of days that were complete wash outs, unfortunatey we were at Sea World and Epcot on those days!

Anyway we are going back June 11th, so didn't put us off!
