June or October?

My DH said we can go back to Disney in 2015. So now I'm trying to decide when we should go. I am looking at the first week in June or the week following Columbus day. I can not decide which would be better as they both have pro and cons in my opinion.

I went the first week in June 2013 and had a wonderful time. Weather wasn't too hot and I had a plan so crowds really didn't matter too much. I know we could go again and the weather could be totally different.

Pros: DD is out of school, we will be able to stay longer. We will drive (unless airfare prices drop) and it is a 16 hour drive.
Star War Weekends
I would like to rent points to stay at BWV and will need 2 studios and might have better chance of getting those.
I wouldn't have to wait as long to go

Cons: Weather could be hot and humid
More expensive to rent points

October
Pro: Cheaper to rent points (could save $400/studio)
Halloween Party, we've never been and it might be fun to try
Weather could be more pleasant

Cons: DD only has a week of for fall break and if we drive, we might feel rushed.
Food and wine festival is going on so it might be difficult to be able to rent points for 2 studios.
I have to wait 4 more months to go

I have read that October has gotten more crowded each year especially around Columbus day. So I am assuming crowds will be about the same at either time. I just can't decide. So I thought maybe some people on here would have an opinion that might help me.

I would go with the Columbus Day trip, and fly. Gas is high too, and spending 2 days on the road of valuable vacation time doesn't make sense.
