We are heading to WDW in three weeks and plan on booking a bounceback! The dates are realllllly limited and I am trying to decide if we want to do June or December.

Our kids will be 3 and 6 at the time of our next trip.

What are your thoughts on either month? We are doing MVMCP this year so I don't mind if we skip it in 2018.

I would totally vote December - if you can go early December you end up with reasonable crowds, perfect weather and the Christmas decorations make it that more magical. June you end up with heat, humidity, crowds start picking up because many schools are out. Are there any dates in early May you could do? This would allow for slightly less heat and humidity and flower and garden is going on.

I was thinking this. Yes, we could...It is just soooooo close to our current trip ha ha we'd bounceback 5 months later. My husband is a CPA though so it might be nice to do a short trip the end of April/early May.....

We are going in April and then just an adult trip in December. It will make leaving in December not so painful because you know you will be back soon. Flower and Garden is really nice and something that you should experience with all the topiaries and food cards- yummy!! They even have an Easter egg hunt for the kids(I believe it goes through all of F & G and not just around Easter). Can you really go to Disney too often?

There are rumors that the new Toy Story land will be opening in the spring or summer of 2018. If that is important to you, you might want to book for December so you can be assured that it will be open when you go.

Toy Story land aside, I would still vote for December. Lower crowds (hopefully), better weather (hopefully) and Christmas decorations! I love WDW at Christmas time!!!

Though, if you do the May/June trip, you could always look at doing another bounce-back in December!! You have annual pass...right?!?! If not, you might want to look into it with all of the trips you have in the pipeline! :thumbsup2 Might make it feasible to do more trips that way. :)

Happy planning!!!

Glad someone mentioned about TS land. It just popped in my head - so that may be a deciding factor to wait until December. I definitely second the AP -- if you don't have it make sure if you plan on upgrading your tickets this trip but look closely at the dates you are planning for December because there are blackout dates for the gold pass.
