Well, I knew June would be a tough month! My sister's bday, end of school, dance recitals....
Not doing so hot:
6/1/ $22 groceries
6/2 $40 quicken (don't feel terrible about that, it's usually $70, and I was still having to go to the exes to use his version)
6/3 $3 for resume review (but I have to cancel or it auto renews!)
6/4 $3.50 sandwich at work. $25 for a trial I forgot to cancel.
Tonight I'm taking the kids to the movies, so maybe tomorrow?
6/5 $13 groc $35 for movies with the kids plus popcorn
6/6 no buy!!!
6/7 $80 dance pics, $13 sisters bday present
6/8 $3 @ Wendy's (had to use the potty driving home from my sitters!) $15 groc for a potluck pool party
6/9 $9 contribution for work retirement party
6/10 BIG SPENDING! $65 used lawn mower, $6 battery for car, $9 groc, $100 to take kids to Journey/Steve Miller.....awesome deal though-that included 2 t-shirts, 4 lawn seats, tailgating supplies, drinks and snacks at the concert and Mickey Ds after the concert.
6/11- no buy...plus I canceled two trials I had signed up for, one at $15 a month and one at $25.
6/12- $4 for my breakfast date with my little boy, $5 for a $10 Starbucks gc. Put the teachers gifts together this am with EXTREMELY decadent spa treats that I purchased at 80% off back in March! Going to a free yoga class later.
Only 2/10 so far....feel like total spending is down because I have been seeking out the cheapest way to do what I have planned...ie, I'm at the grocery store every few days, but I buy 'red sticker meat' and plan dinner around that, brought coupons to breakfast, etc. I put $250 in the WDW trip account--that makes $950. Only 2050$ to go
