Hi All,
Been busy, busy, busy. DS went on another college visit, DL11 took the ACT on Sat and we went looking for prom dresses. So broke now and will have even less money in a year. Oh well...

We missed the last storm...we were on the northern side of it....thank goodness...that was brutal, but now they are saying another one moves in tonight into Tuesday. I am so very sick of winter. We have had snow on the ground all winter...never a thaw which I hate.

You are getting so close to your trip MKY, Bug and Candi. It's almost a month. That is good news for me as that means 4th quarter is almost here!

Hi All: Been busy here too. No snow for us this weekend but we have one coming Tuesday night into Wednesday. Hate the snow but it will be nice to have a day snowed in with the family.

Made first appointment for braces for DD11. Can't believe she starts middle school next year. Life is definately changing.

Gotta look into motion sickness bracelets. DD11 gets car sick and we want to take a road trip this summer. Depending on how well she can do in the car will determine how far we go. Of course I want to hit DW!!! Thoughts are to take it easy and only use the Give a Day pass and upgrade for some waterpark passes. Maybe hit Universal and SeaWorld. Gotta see what we can figure out.

Tomar: So sorry you got hit so hard. We were sweating it out Friday night into Saturday but we got nothing. Funny thing was, we live on the north shore and had NOTHING. I had errands to run and the further south I went the worse the weather was. Crazy driving into a blizzard like that. But in the end it was over before it started. No plans for the week so I am fine with it coming now.

MKY and Candi: You must be so excited to get out of the cold. Can't stand the freezing anymore. Gotta have summer soon.

EE22: I can't imagine how broke you are. We are still getting hit with bills from DD5 being in the hospital. Plenty of insurance but delays in some of the claims. So laying out cash and waiting for reimbursement. Trying to get ahead seems harder as they get older. And I am not doing college yet.

TP2, Good luck at the orthodontist. I feel for her. I remember getting mine. They didn't say it would hurt, frequently. Ugh, of course that was before motrin was over the counter. I bit my orthodontist twice, and on purpose. Must of been why I got them freshman year in HS and off my 1st year working as a nurse. Almost forgot: sorry can't help with seaworld, but universal > try to stay onsite there, it is soooooooooooooo worth it, for FOTL. They do usually except the entertainment book discounts and aaa discounts. I haven't been to the royal pacific, but have the other 2 and they are very nice. Loved portifino bay.

We are doing the waiting game right now for snow too. There are some terrible reports and we are under warning now till WED at 4am. That is quite long?? Usually they are for only a few hours. Its sunny and about 25 out, but it looks like EE22 is getting it now. Wish we got snow days at work.

EE22, Is DS planning college near home, or wants to spread his wings farther? Thanks for the ap info!

Tomar, hope the prince is doing great and growing! Hope your well and haven't gotten any bugs out there.

Candi, We are so ready to get out of here. But the WDW weather has only been in the 60's. Yes, better than here but would like to see higher numbers.

Planning wise, we paid off our trip and now its is all set. Hope we still don't have to worry about snow storms delaying us come march.

OK...so just when I`ve just about had it with the 20 plus inches of snow that was dumped on us Saturday....we have been forwarned that another 12 inches is expected to grace us again on Wed
I think we had about enough of this winter folks !!

Minnie- Glad to hear that snow is snow in any other country....Id be happier though, if it all STOOD in another country !!

We had a snow day yesterday. Really hate snow days, but knew it was coming. I made pancakes again. What else can ya do??

Glad everyone is doing well. Or at least okay even with the snow.

DS is going to be max 2.5 hours from home. He has it down to three schools. I did know what he'd pick if he had to, but now with his last visit I'm not sure.

The guys have stayed at Royal Pacific and we are staying there this summer while we go to Universal. It's the least expensive. Universal tickets have really gone up in price. Sea World was fun when we went. I think there is a pass for both, but I'm not sure. The only deals so far are if you stay more than two nights. We don't have AAA so we don't have a discount

All I can say is at least the snow day is giving us a chance to catch up. More practice on flute and homework. Get all the laundry done. It is really coming down right now. Can't believe they say it will get worse. Stay warm everyone.

Tomar, I feel for you. Saw pictures of the east coast and snow. OMG. This has so been the worse winter. Glad to hear the prince is doing well.

TP2, Hoping you missed out on the snow, but looks doubtful.

EE22, you had pancakes, I thought of that commercial about "when its pancakes, everyone gets involved" >>and then they show the kids carrying eggs etc... . Like a secret project. I pictured you with the bowl, amanda carrying eggs and you 2 men on the stove. Next time, give me more of a notice, I80 was backed up here and don't think I could make it for the pancakes today.

Minnie, OOOoooh, a foreign destination hope it was exciting....

Bethpremier, Welcome, We love to plan. The waiting goes pretty fast. We countdown with each other and pass the time. Seems like someone is always getting close or in the midst of planning. Are all you adr's planned and ressies made yet? Any questions let us know.

Hi everyone. Happy Valentines Day to everyone.

Life has been busy. We got hit with the big storm but the high school was still open so I went to work late and took DD14 to school first. Both kids had a gastro virus last week, so that kept us busy for about 4 days till it passed.

I have some connections at a hotel here now, so they gave me a room key to be able to go swimming when we want to. I took the kids a couple of times this week and that seems to take up so much time in the evening.

I have our tickets purchased from Undercover Tourist. It says 12 working days for delivery so they should arrive in time even if they are delayed.

My best friend (since we were 8 years old) had her first baby on Wednesday. She is 42 and we were all a bit nervous, especially since it was not planned, but the baby seems fine and is beautiful! So I have been busy trying to help her out and keep her sane in those first few days at home.

We are down to 26 days till we leave! This week, we will have another meeting with my mom and her friends so I can help them decide what to pack and go over the details about the flights and such again.

I can't wait!

Hiya everyone!

Back from our little chicago break. Auto show wasn't that great this year. Crowded but lacking alot of cars? or at least seemed that way. Got some pre-trip shopping done. Packing was bad for the few days here, can't seem to phantom our trip is so close and will be packing soon. Been really nice having a few days off. Used my xmas and ny holidays. Felt like it should be a party. Nothing seems to have changed around here, so haven't missed anything. And go back to work on Sat. for my weekend.

Candi, it is still cold at wdw. We are running out of time for it to heat up. I still am only wearing shorts. Have your sunglasses, the glare off these legs is blinding.

EE22, if you guys come back, I highly recommend the marriott on michigan ave. We had a great view. Very nice. Nice ticker!

Tomar, nice ticker, too. You guys all set with your adr's and plans? So your ticker has confused me, is the coming to grandma's or going to wdw? and the ?

It was 40 here today, and we still have snow on the ground too. Hope everyone warms up soon, mky

The Princess has been at Gramma`s many times already ...it is going to be her FIRST visit to the "World" we are celebrating this summer !! WHOO HOO !!
We will be in WDW for a while, then they will come down and meet us !! YIPEE !!
They are comeing up to New Jersey for the "Little Prince`s Christening this spring though" !! ....This will be a wonderful Gramma and Grampa year with them !!

You guys are going to be leaving before you know it !! Yaay !!

The Perfectly Princess`s First trip to the "World" is going to be Gramma and Grampa`s Birthday gift to her this summer !!

Tomar - it sounds wonderful that the prince and princess will be joining you at the world.

MKY - remember that it can heat up in only a few days if it needs to. I am hoping for warm weather. I will have my jeans on unless the temps get higher.

We could have a competition for the whitest legs! I just might win. I had a cab driver in Mexico give instructions to pick us up and even he called me the very white, white girls.... I could not argue with him.

How is Bug these days? I bet she is getting excited too.

Hi Everyone MKY and Candi: You guys must have the luggage down by now! Getting ready.

Hope all is well with everyone. Just got the kids back to school. We had last week off and the week before we had a couple of snow days. They are predicting more for this week but then they will extend the school year or take away from Spring break. Lets just pray that winter is over and we can all move on with it.

Tomar: I am sure you are so excited. I know I would be. It will be so much fun for everyone.
