Yes, the sav views are pricey...except they do get good ap rates though so maybe throw that into the mix too. Also yes, they come out about the time I go back to work:mad:

I need a lot of rest before that or I am doomed. The beginning of the year is bad anyway and we have two new staff members again this year...so, I need to be 100%

1900 Park breakfast was very good. Probably the best breakfast besides Boma breakfast. They have an omelet station at both. The Mad Hatter is so darn funny and they gave us a lot attention even though we were all "adults". Mary Poppins is there, Alice...always good, Pooh and Tigger.

Dinner is good too although it's pricey. The stepmother and stepsisters are a hoot.

I prefer the Boma breakfast to dinner. Tusker House was also good. We do late adrs...around 10 am and it works out well with the teens. Things have changed for planning for us. Same here for me...late breakfast and then only two meals. CP had a good breakfast too. I hear the new place at Kidani is good, but it seems a tad odd to me.

DL11 and I went to Kona twice for Tonga Toast. Yum...no bananas though. GREAT coffee! yummo and a free "to go" cup. We did the Grand Cafe for breakfast. Nothing special and more cash.

H&V for breakfast is pretty good too. We eat there for the food, not the characters:rotfl:DHS is limited for table service for us.

DL11 was crushed because of the strom our last night in MK none of the stands were open and she didn't get her itadoozie either:sad2:she was bummed. I never got to see Spectro...only two nights with only one Spectro and that was Wednesday with the electrical storm...not a drop of rain at the MK too:sad1:She did get two Dole Whips though...one our last day there.

We had hit the lottery too with the fastpass machines...it was spitting them out for BTMRR...12 of them...never got to ride it or SM. Got SM as we never put in our tickets for BTMRR...it was going nuts when we walked up. Oh well...none of the rides were running due to the storm and then MK closed at 10 pm right after Wishes. I guess in the end...it was for the best seeing as I was so sick by then.

DH and DS ate lunch at Le Cellier one day. They said it was their best meal and not as pricey as dinner.

T Rex still was the best meal for us...both nights. Chicken is to die for and Amanda said the ribs were the best ever there.

:wizard:Hey EE22,

Thanks, for the resturant advise. I like sci fi [although, a lot of people c/o about it. I guess we have been lucky], not crazy about primetime, but the food is ok. [don't like the "act"]. We are trying brown derby and will split the cobb. Bug, loves the grapefruit cake. We got it to go at starring roles this time. I have more trouble at mk. :confused3 castle is limited. :confused3Bug hates crystal palace, :confused3 and tony's is a race. We like liberty tree & plaza but that is it. Bug was happy pirates of piariata was open. Finally.:thumbsup2 I am trying narcoosee's this time, if it kills me.:lmao: I keep saying that, and something happens and we don't go. I think kona is ok for breakfast, or dessert, but not crazy about the polynesian menu otherwise. Tonga toast is good. But, we don't drink coffee. :scared1: I didn't even get the dole whip. I am so Le Celliar turned off. We have had 3 frightfull meals and that's it.
T-Rex was cool. We ate there in march.

Never got lucky with the fastpass. We got there too late, except for dhs. We got on toy story 4 times in a row. :woohoo: Early entry at 8am, got fastpass and rode, and rode again, got another fast pass and then used both fast passes. Was really great. Even thou crowded.

Only ride we never waited for = monorail. Seemed like we had it timed great. We walked up and it was always pulling in. :wizard::rotfl:

Is your cough / chest breaking up yet? You should be by now. You want it loose and coming out. Be sure to spit. Or, you get GI side effects of the mucous. :sad2: If your not any better > call your md. Push fluids and rest.

mky:cutie:

We like Sci Fi too. :goodvibesbut we go for lunch.
Not fans of Prime Time either...really BAD service the last time and below average food.

CP can be hit or miss. We don't like lunch at all. Last summer breakfast was ick and this year it was good.

Tomar likes Cape May breakfast as does my buddy from here. She also likes the Garden Grill...never been there.

Plaza is good. I guess the sweet potato chips that were at the Castle are now there. They are yummy!! Columbia House (cs I know) was good for our tour. Tomar and my buddy here agree too. MK is a tough one for us. Epcot is worse due to my allergies. DL11 and I ate at the pastry shop:woohoo:

I guess the breakfast at Rainforest is good. Never tried it. I guess the one at AK...not sure if DTD is open.

How about Olivia's or Turf Club...I know in resorts, but who knows. Never looked at the menus. Lady on the bus said the Wave was more quiet at lunch too.

I'm not sure if I am better or not. Everything wears me out. I had to take DL11 to the ortho yesterday and needed a nap afterwards:rolleyes: cough seems the same, but less frequent.

Hello everyone,
i got good homemade potato chip at cosmic rays sandwich side. ee i hope you are feeling better. i like wolfgang puck fast food place. you order the meal get your drink and they bring the food out on regular plates. mky don't give me a reason not to go to narcosses. bye, humphrey aka bug

Hiya Bug!!
I heard comic ray's was good! Never tried wolfgang puck...might have to.
The boys love Earl of Sandwich too...forgot about that one!

I know this sounds weird, but my back shoulder is starting to hurt again. When I took a turn for the worse at WDW...my right shoulder was bothering me...I thought it was from carrying my bag at Disney. No bag here:confused3

I am a lot better so I hope it clears up. I suppose I should head to the doc though to make sure. I almost stayed off the headache last night, but I still got a little one and woke up with a pounding headache this morning.

Summer is slowly disappearing....

Just real quick - thanks for the PMs :thumbsup2

I haven't been here much as I keep having headaches / dizzy spells

Hope to be feeling better and back here soon :wizard:

Get well Minnie...better now at home than in the World.

You and TP2 are the last ones this summer.

You guys have to be getting excited!!:woohoo::woohoo:

Humphrie: Our plans are to eat at WFPE on our arrival day. Glad to hear such wonderful reviews from a veteran!

Minnie: Hope you are feeling better. Better now than in the world.

AP RATES ARE OUT thru Dec 24th. This is EARLY.

I've done everything but send the Blimp over to Chicago MKY!!!
I hope you get what you need.

My friend here booked a week at AKL!:woohoo:

Hiya everyone,

I was tired last nite, and catching up on somethings. So I didn't turn on my computer. Told bug, they probably came out since, I didn't check. Guess they came out yesterday at 11am. :scared1: My bounceback rate was better than the ap rates. I did up grade my BB rate to mkv poly. We decided to splurge on room & cut on eating / buying. Or, at least that is the plan.:confused3:rolleyes1

TP2 & minnie, you guys are soooooooooooooo close!:wizard::dance3::wizard:Anyone packed yet? Are the kids excited.

Tomar, Hope your having a great time. And staying healthy. :wizard:

EE22, hope your feeling better. Thanks for the heads up. Great pictures ! We didn't get any done. :confused3

Happy thursday, mky:cutie: Thrilled tonight, that we are finally set.:woohoo:

Hiya everyone!:wizard:

Woke up and thinking about yesterdays plans, very excited, no remorse.:thumbsup2 So checked with Bug, and same there. We are ready to go! :rolleyes1 Oooops, still over 2 months to wait. :rotfl:

Went ahead and paid off October, so I can use the points on disney visa while there. I am starting to think of planning as my part time job. I so enjoy it.

EE22, can I come over and help your friend plan too? We are almost all set here and I need to start on another trip. Wish I was more versed on DL and could help you on that. Last time in california was 95'. Things have change.popcorn::

TP2, are you packed yet? You should be about 2 weeks now? Any adr crisis or problems? I did find it easier to adjust our times and even switched adr's this trip, but then again no free dining in july. Was much more empty in the resturants.

Anyone a creme brulee' fan? We are. I found the wolfgang puck quick serve DTD's one of the best and for about half the price.

Have a great weekend, mky:cutie:

MKY: We actually have about 3 1/2 weeks to go. I don't have the suitcases out but I have been stashing stuff. I went and put all that stuff in one spot this week.:scared: Well, it is a prime example of why you don't make a Disney nut go 2 years between trips.:rotfl: I have 3, 18 gallon tubs of stuff for the trip. Some clothes, crocs, and mostly just junk! I don't even think I can even bring it all on the trip with us. Just way too much stuff.

I am not even thinking of changing any ADR's around. Between the allergies and all the stuff we have going on it is just easier to keep things as is. After all, it is only food, right?????

We are still buried in work around this house. Because we are not moving we figured we should do some of those projects we had been putting off. I am ready for it to be over though now. Ready for a trip!

Happy Friday everyone!!!:yay::yay::yay:

mky: so glad you are happy with your plans. I'm glad you got mkv too. There is a reason for everything. My friend here did say that the ap rates were limited when she checked a couple different spots so you were not alone. I'm glad the BB worked out though.

I may have some questions for you about my friend's trip. I don't think there are any deals out there for her the week of Thanksgiving yet. I should run the numbers for her for an ap rate. Not sure they are even offered that week.

DL is overwhelming to me which is funny since it's so much smaller than WDW:rotfl:The deals for DL this summer were great! I suppose 2011 won't be so...figures!

TP2: your counter scares me because I go back to work before you leave:scared1:you better take trips more often to save money:lmao:

creme brulee' fan...that would be DL11. She loves it. We didn't find any this time. We'll have to stay more days so we can eat more:rotfl:

:woohoo:My friend booked her trip for Thanksgiving week!!
I am so excited for her! She has an 11 year old boy and a 9 year old girl. I of course have my bias towards AKL, but it is pricey. So, they booked a pirate room at CBR. I think it's perfect with a son of 11:dance3:

They are driving so have a car for CBR too.

Has anyone gone over Thanksgiving? mky I'm putting my money on you!!

Sugguestions for Tgiving day?
Aren't some of the holiday decorations up then too?

Hiya everyone!:yay:

TP2,20 Days!:simba::simba: You can almost taste that mickey bar.;):mickeybar:mickeybar

EE22, Yes, we have been twice at thanksgiving. It is a great time to go. Just that weekend is busy. Otherwise, it is pretty slow. All of the xmas things are going on too. The decorations are all up. :thumbsup2 MVVCP is going on usually that week. Candlelight processional, and osbourne lights too. We have been to wdw, for every event except one. STARWARS WEEKENDS:darth::yoda::chewy::ewok: :idea: Since I am a starwars nerd, it is really hard to believe. :sad2:
Our last thanksgiving [last year] we ate at primetime 50's. We had planned an mgm day thinking mk might be too crowded. It was very nice. "Homey" with the usual dinner. We had "mom" taking care of us, so it was nice. Every place seemed to have a turkey dinner going. Fast food closest would be a turkey leg. But definatley make an ADR! Vital!!! Now, with these "free" dining packages >> be sure to push the importance of adr's. I have never seen the resturants as crazy crowded as with free dining. You will not eat anywhere or have any chance of walk in during a free dining period.

EE22, hope your feeling better? Get some rest.:thumbsup2

Minnie, you must be close too? How many days?:dance3:

Candi, how is work going? Sorry we have been sending alot of rain up there.

Tomar, thinking of you. Your probably packing, hope you have a great flight home and had a great time at wdw.:wizard:

mky:cutie:

Hello,
TP2 when your at downtown disney go to the candy store and get some jaw breakers and mky likes the butterscotch candy. you also need to go to the basin and get some mickey bath bombs at the cash registers. that's nice after a day of running around. I like to bring some home and pretend I am there. i am hoping to make these stops the first day down there.

ee2 - i hope you are feeling. it will take a while before you are feeling better

mky - 7 more days until :bday:

bye humphrey :yoda: :donald:

TP2: You have to be coming unglued!!!:woohoo::woohoo:Have you started to pack yet...I hope so.

Tomar comes home tomorrow. I hope you have a great travel day Tomar.
DL11 can't believe she's still there:lmao:

HP1227 Thanks for the heads up on mky's 21st birthday too:rolleyes1
LOVE GOOFY'S!!! YUMMY!!!!!

Minnie...I hope you are well for the trip now too.

MKY!!!
STAR WARS WEEKENDS!! DS is a HUGE Star Wars fan. He loved SWW! We have been to a couple times when they ran longer into June. What fun. However, you have not really seen a Star Wars Fan until you go that weekend!:worship:

I am pusing adrs like crazy with her. She knows the date is the end of the month. TP2 is the DP Queen too:goodvibes I am hoping hours come out in a timely fashion so we can plan some stuff before she calls. At least it's not the first day of school.

I didn't know MVMCP was going on that week. I am not sure they can make a CP...they are driving so may leave Sat to come home. Also, not sure what parks she is going to do either.

We go for DS's senior pics tomorrow:sad1:

He would also like a picture of Vader. Loves that dog! Loves the name too:woohoo:

I am feeling better. I'm saving my energy for pics tomorrow. DS only wants a couple shots. I'll pay next year with DL11 with 50 shots in all 50 states with 72 different outfits and that's before the European tour to finish off the rest of the shots.
