Thanks Tomar. I can tell I'm tired. That should have been DS 3rd in JV shot and 4th in Varsity Discus. I'm so tired. I need more java!!:drinking1

Hiya everyone,

WOW, you guys are all about 70+ I was thrilled to be nearing the 100 day mark or double digits!:wizard: So, is everyone overlapping and meeting up? I am so jealous. You guys are all going to have a great time.

Tomar, so glad to hear your better. Good luck at the allergist.

EE22, Congrat's with the kids field events!:dance3:

Candi, thank you, max is very special. :)

Good news, it was 70's here today and sunny. Sending it east for you guys.

Happy Planning, mky:cutie:

Wow - what a great day today here. The weather was warm and sunny and just wonderful. :cloud9: :cloud9:

MKY - how are you enjoying the new car?

Tomar - once the trees start to bloom here, I will be in the same boat that you are in. But I do so love having a lot of trees around.

EE22 - you must be so proud of the kids. My DD9 is busy with baseball practise these days.

TP2 - it is a good thing you have this group here to vent your planning ideas to. I have had to cut back on how much I talk about the trips in front of the kids since they were getting confused about which trip I was talking about. :lmao: I have never had that problem before.

Happy Friday everyone.

Hiya everyone!

Candi, you are so right. it was still nice today, but suppose to rain tonight. Hopefully it will hold out. Yes, i love the car. It is alot more fun than my suv. so glad all the business is done. With selling, etc.. . You are right it is very confusing planning more than 1 trip. But still fun.;)

Did you all hear about our EARTHQUAKE Yes, it woke me up. I thought I had a poltergiest. I was sure, I had to be floating in the air. It was about 4:30 am here. I felt my bed shaking, and then all my (disney) plates started shaking and making noise. It was scary. I turned on my lights and went in the hall, bug was up too and said she felt it too. Mom and Dad slept right through it. Have had several after shocks too. Had an inservice at work and out in the temporary trailers (during our construction) > and it shook out there too that was about 10 am. They are saying we might not be done yet. :confused3 Anyone else feel it? Candi or EE22?

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Planning, mky:cutie:

:scared1: Oh my! How scarry for you MKY :scared1:

It has not hit the news hear today, but I must confess - I kind of nodded off during the news at 6pm. It was a nice nap but I might have missed it. I will have to check out the local paper online (Tribune is it).

We don't get earthquakes here. Windsor sits on the Canadian Shield which is pretty stable. We only had one "little" tremmor that I ever remember. It was just enough movement for me to think I was going to miss the toilet when I was sitting and that is about how long it lasted. :lmao: Once my butt made contact - it was all over. :lmao:

I hope everything is okay and no major damage or injury results from it.

Keep us posted.

YIKES !

MKY: Bill felt it. It woke him up. I 'd a bad start to the week on Sunday with only two hours of sleep so I was in a coma most nights after that and had troubles going to sleep Thursday night even.

4:30 am is when Bill felt it too. He thought I was dreaming again:lmao: I sleep walk and "look for things" at night sometimes. So, he thought I was having some kind of strange dream attack.

CRAZY!!

We are building an arc here due to all the rain. We stood in mud last night at a track meet:headache: DS's throwing shoes are ruined and the mud on clothes and towels is everywhere:laundy:

Hope you're all having a great weekend. It's nusto here. I'm just going day by day to get through it all.:goodvibes 4 track meets in one week is too much.

Hiya everyone,

No, we didn't think we where in the earthquake belt.:confused3 Tornado alley > yes:worship: No damage just scary. It hit in south / eastern illinois but spread up through wisconsin, down to tennesse, indiana, iowa, and missouri. Must be a large fault. The good news, is apparantly there is 2 faults here, this was the better of the 2. The other one, is supposed to include alot of natural gas areas, and is supposed to be way more dangerous.

EE22, hope you dry out soon. I know, we are still in mud here too. Partially Vader's fault.

mky:cutie:

MKY: How scary.:scared1: I heard about the earthquake on the news. We don't get them either, I would not know what to do.

At least you got your new car. Something fun!:drive:

EE22: Sounds like my month of June. It is always crazy busy here in June.

Did you get more SNOW???? I heard it on the news and thought I was dreaming.

Glad the kids are having a great track season.:cheer2:

Tomar: So glad to hear you are feeling better.:goodvibes We had some wonderful weather this weekend, hopefully you got to enjoy it.:flower3:

So, now that you guys are all getting so close, you need to fill me in on all your planning details.:surfweb: I will need trip reports and all...got to get my fix somehow.popcorn:: I saw some old friends this weekend and was filling them in on our last couple of trips. They said I should stay away for awhile. Maybe if we skip the year things will be much better for our next trip.pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

TP2...we had snow last Th, Fri and Sat...nothing stuck though.
We were in winter coats last Sunday with my parents for throwing and today we got a little sun burnt. CRAZY!! The nice weather...finally...has put us all in a better mood.

I think Friday's meet will go down in history as one of the worst weather conditions. DS did place 3rd in Varsity discus too:goodvibes

Tomorrow the kids both have a meet in the same place so that's good. Usually we have to go to opposite sites.

Happy Spring!!

Hope everyone is doing well.

How's the car MKY? I want a light pink one!

Hi Guys !:goodvibes
Up with the chickens this morning...don`t ask !
Im feeling so much better ...but the Allergy doc has me on Prednisone now...cause the Broncitis infection was incorporated with a case of Asthma and the antibiotics aren`t cutting it completely !! ICK
Soooo Im doomed to walking the floors for the next few days as that is the effect this med has on me !! :headache:

TP2- The weather here in NJ was beautiful this weekend as well...I did get out to see all the azaleas and trees blooming :flower:
Thank you for your good thoughts :cloud9:
Im sure we will all keep you up to the minute on everything this year...and the time will pass sooooo quickly......you`ll be in the planning mode before you know it !! :grouphug:

EE22- YAAY !!! Spring has FINALLY sprung in the "Field of Dreams" !:yay:

MKY-:cutie: ...I bet each day is just alittle better ...when you get into your brand spanking....fabulously NEW....CAR !! :drive: ;)
I hope you guys are over the "Quake" tremors  ...and everything is back to normal ......Is Max starting to get excited ? !!

Well, I am a little disappointed. My nephew can't come with me in July, so I am back to square one.

MKY - are you sure you don't have move vacation time :rolleyes1

Well, I wonder who was meant to come with us that I have not asked?

Hiya everyone!:wizard:

My counter says 100 Days! Tommorrow is double digits.:thumbsup2 Max is excited but he has alot going on. He graduates and will go to junior high next august! In june he is going to texas to visit his dad's family. But he told them he needs to get back, so he can go to WDW. :rotfl: I guess they wanted to keep him for quite a while, but he is refusing. cause " i go with my aunts to wdw every summer". :dance3: You think we spoil him? And when did I tell him its every summer?:dance3:

EE22, Glad to hear you found a little sun. Maybe your classroom is warmer now? Congrat's on the kids field events.

Tomar, Nothing like a prednisone buzz. I always enjoy the withdrawl symptoms too.:scared1: Hope your feeling better soon.

TP2, Will definately keep you abreast of our planning, but you have to tell us if you try the waters and go somewhere else?

Candi, good luck no, I am all tapped on the vacation front. Can't imagine you don't have people lining up. A trip to WDW?:confused3 Don't worry, things will work out.

Happy planning, mky:cutie:

Hi All!
Yes, mky, the sun is out and the room is warmer. I'm not sure they will ever fix it now.

TP2...I wish you a year of fantastic planning:goodvibes It will be better after not going...just like for us.

Good luck finding someone Candi.

Tomar...hope you are better every day:goodvibes

DS took first and DD took second last night in discus and both placed in shot put as well.:woohoo:

I'm close to 60 days:cheer2:

Hi everyone

Anyother beautiful day here today. I left work early for a dental appointment (just cleaning) so I was home at a good time and was able to enjoy a bit more of the evening than normal.

I have a pile of work I brought home with me, but I just had to check in here first :lmao:

It really is hard to believe that I don't have a line of people wanting to come with me. :confused3 But I have been careful about who I ask to come. I know some people would not be good to travel with.
:rolleyes1

Tomar - I usually don't have a lot of problems with medicines but prednisone is really hard to take. Been there hated it...but it really does work, so I hope you are feeling better soon.

EE22 - they will fix your heater at the end of May when it is really warm and then you won't be able to shut it off before the end of school :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: School board humor....:lmao: Our school is so hot all year round that the kids don't need anything with long sleeves once inside the school.. Congrats on the sixty day mark. :dance3:

TP2 - you can help me plan if you want...I have way too many trips planned in the next year and I am having trouble working on all of them at once. I am really out of control.

Did I tell everyone we managed to score free tickets and are going back in January 09?

I am busy trying to figure out what to do in the 10 ports our cruise ship sails to in Europe.

Here is how much I am out of control this year.

Mar 08 - 8 days in Disney OKW
May 08 - 14 days on a Mediteranian cruise in Europe
July 08 - 10 days in Disney AKV
Jan 09 - 10 days in Disney SSR
Mar 09 - 2 nights at the Nikolodian Hotel and 7 nights on the Disney Magic.

I better hope for American Axle to settle and get back to work so that I can pay for all this. :goodvibes

Hi guys !:goodvibes
Looks like the prednisone is working on me...Im feeling sooo much better !! :cool1:
Thank you all for the good wishes !

MKY- I can`t believe Max is already going to Junior High !! So he`s going to WDW for his graduation !!! Yay !...Great Graduation Present from Auntie MKY & Auntie "Bug"...LOL;)

EE22- WE`re getting sooooooooo much closer to our trips now !!
:Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2::Pinkbounc

Candi- I feel the same as MKY- Can`t believe people aren`t jumping at the chance to accompany you to WDW !!!:yay: Hang in there... Im sure something will come up ! :thumbsup2

The Weather here in the East Coast has just been beautiful (as TP2 noted )....it`s been warm and sunny everyday since the week started !...Watch ....Just `cause I said that....it`ll probably start raining for 5 days straight !!

Happy Middle of the week everyone !!! :flower3:

Hiya Everyone:

We are trying to plan something else. DD9 wants to go to Jamestown in Virginia. I think she is happy to try something else. We are thinking of doing a road trip :drive: and hitting Lancaster, PA then go down to Williamsburg. We have a period of 2 weeks and I think we may wing some of it and just try to go with the flow. Of course I need to do some planning but a more laid back trip this year will be nice. We will get back just in time for the wedding festivities and then DH's high school reunion, then back to school. Summer is going to fly by.

MKY: Congrats to Max.:teacher: They grow so fast. I can't believe how fast the time is going by.

EE22: You must be so proud of the kids.:cheer2: So exciting for all of you.

Tomar: :flower3: I have a neighbor that has some serious lung problems and she was on predisone this winter. Hopefully you won't need it for long. I know the side effects did a number on her but in the end it really helped. Hoping for you to feel better and get off that terrible medicine.

Candi: Maybe a mothers helper for your July trip. I am assuming that you need help being the only adult. I bet you would just have to pay for her trip and it would take care of your problems. Just an idea.

Hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful spring weather. Gotta go feed the kids.:rolleyes1
