Okay - did I tell y'all about my DS losing his 1st tooth at MGM?

I swear I'm going to get cracking on this trip report ...... hopefully if I write it, someone will read it! DH & I made notes every night of what we did so we could come home & write a report for the board!

I kept dancing around at work today. (kinda weird at hospital). Singing "I'm going on vacation"

8days to go! 5 work days. left. I am past excited. After 12pm I counted started to count today over.

Hi All!
It's too HOT! right in time for me to go back to work and SWEAT like an Iowa Piggy. Pigs don't sweat, but I do when it's this hot with 30+ other humans in the same room.

6 days and 4hours from now! Or 4 days to work.

Planning on big packing friday, cause work all weekend and early next week. Hope I stick to it and ain't packing Wednesday morning. Last nite I set up one of the "mickey" phone calls to my nephew for the morning we leave. He calls and talks to the kids. (disney's enchanted phone calls) I hope he likes it.

Hi Guys !!!!!! I`m back ...... well.... barely I`m just unwinding from a very magical month !!!! First, seeing my beautiful grandaughter , an then ,the most magical time ,at our "Precious" WDW !!
We had the most wonderful Dinners, and even got to see illuminations from our balony (when we were in by 9 pm ). It was very hot hot hot ( of course ), but after some time in the pool each day, we were ready to go and play some more!!!!!
I wrote down alot of the magical things that made each day so special, and I`ll try to write a trip report soon!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everybody, don't know how I missed this thread, but I'm off next week to the land of the Mouse, staying at the Poly, dates 2nd to the 8th Aug and I'm so excited. my kids are going camping with my in-laws while me and DH hit WDW, my countdown is so small compared to when it started and I've started putting my things together. I'm even having Disney dreams

I'm glad I won't be alone here Tomar. Glad you had a great time! I have to tell you that the last time DD and I were in Philharmagic I got a bit teary eyed because I knew it was coming to an end with my kids and I thought of you! The Circle of Life and taking my grandkids to WDW some day. Hopefully many, many somedays away but someday. They are true Disney people. They are hooked for life!!

MKY: My goal is to be done with 6 chapters before you leave!! You're motivating me. I did a ton yesterday. I can do it. Just remember when you don't want to pack that it's more fun than what I am doing!!!

TP2: My goal is to not have a nervous breakdown before you leave since school starts for me. I'll have one after you leave This year is going to be a wild ride

Tomar: Welcome home. I loved your pictures. Is that the Photopass cd that you pay the $99 for and get to print the pictures on your own? I thought I had read on the DIS that you could not get the embellishments on the pictures. That was the one thing I wanted more than anything. I really wanted a photo with Tink for DD5. She is crazy into Tink.

Looks like you are having a wonderful summer. First the new grandbaby and then your wonderful trip to DW. Can't wait to hear more about your month. It looks like it was wonderful.

Mouseaddict: My SIL is just back and my nephew also lost a tooth on the trip. He was hoping that the "Disney tooth fairy" was more generous than the one back home. He made sure that tooth came out before they left their trip.

MKY: You are really into the final countdown now. So exciting. You need to get packing. I can't believe your not all done yet. I remember being at the point of no more work, that is really the point that vacation starts you know. Make sure you do something special that day to celebrate. Even if it just means having a special dessert or doing something special that you would not normally do.

Glad to hear Wolfie is doing better. It would have been hard to relax on vacation otherwise.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE
This morning I was almost ready to hear the phone ring and , Stictch and mickey say "NO SLEEPING"!!!, and "HAVE A MAGICAL DAY"!!!!, then I realized I was back inthe REAL world !!
Soooooooooo, I just called to talk to my precious princess GD!!!!
I mean,... just goooo goooo talking!!

TP2- glad you enjoyed the pics, they are not a cd. It works like this:
When you enter a park, yu`ll see a photographer cm (usually at the entrance). Just say that you`d like to have a picture of your family taken, they`ll give you a photopass card after the pic is taken, and yu can view them when you return home. Just follow the instructions on the card. You can ask for Tink to be placed in your DD`s hand even !! Don`t be afraid to ask !!!
you can view them for 30 days (even share them ). If you want to buy any, I think the`re about 12.00 each. But if yu just want to view them it`s for free.
of course, we alway buys a couple It`s Fun!!!!!!!!!!

While you are packing, I'll be unpacking my boxes at school this weekend and making my room Disney-fied It's going to be hotter than Hades here this weekend, but I'll condition myself for when school starts I guess.

Tomar, Wonderful pictures 6 mickeys for the pictures. But why are you carrying everything? I don't see DH with that camera equipment? Sis is still saying NO to even a photographer and photopass. She likes to use her camera that way she is not in them. Ok > where was your b-day dinner? We are planning Chef de france for dinner, on 8/4. Sooooooooooooo I can turn 444444447777777. Oh, my I haven't said that out loud yet. I know I have to be the oldest one here. But sis is only 40.

TP2, I think you are behind me about 14 days. I have been procrastinating, and not packing too much yet. I am off tommorrow and plan to do a lot then. You are probably farther. I only have bags of stuff in clumps. Didn't I say a week ago, I needed to check the camcorder? Still haven't taken it out of the closet.

Mouseaddicts, I'm sure your home toothfairly is just as beauitful as tinkerbell Congrat's to your baby! Hmmmmmmm, haven't seen the trip report yet? (Nor Tomar's either)?

Wolfie says hi! He looks great. A whole new dog.

We had terrible storms here today. Just saw us on TV. 5 inches of rain, all kind of flooding, and funnel clouds. We had tornado sirens for about 1 hour. Its been pouring out with Thunder and lightening since 2pm till now. Our backyard flooded but it has gotten better.

The official count down is 5 days and 3 days to work (S,S, M). I cleaned tonight so I don't have to tommorrow and hopefully will pack.

I've read about people getting a signed picture of there fav. character in the room on check in. Is this only for concerige guest? Or can anyone request it? Have you guys ever done this?
