WOW! :sunny:

You guys are getting sooooooooo close! I kinda feel like we are leaving sooner too because you are. (living vicariously through you). popcorn:: Now EE22 stay calm, you know your iternary better than that math :teacher: book! ;) Sounds like some very interesting things that you get to do. I thought last year, when we drove (sneeked) behind the mk, on the road past the cr > and came out again by gf, was a real hoot. But actually CM only events. WOW! popcorn:: That will be just too cool. This year, I want to find the (ebay :surfweb: place) mousesurplus store, supposed to be near the airport? Thought that sounded interesting.

Is anyone doing one of the illumination cruises? I would love a ride in the "breathless" from the yc! But don't think sis is surprising me with that. :rolleyes1 Has anyone done this before. Would just like to zip around the lake for a "burst". :boat: :genie: Well you never know, I might give myself a b-day present. :upsidedow But probably needed to be wayyyy prearranged?

How many more days? EE22 you need one of my countdown timers. :goodvibes Tommar your just over 2 weeks and TP2 your with me! :thumbsup2 mky princess:

I have missed a lot by not being on here and really reading. I feel like I have ADD. I missed two entire posts!

I have done an Illuminations Cruise. Not the breathless though. One year we shared one and last year I actually got one on my own which still amazes me!! It is neat. Last year the people we know there that work at Disney came with us and then a friend of mine from here was down there at the same time so her family came with us. She use to work at the Disney Store and always watched for goodies for me so I paid the cost of the cruise as a thank you. She's a wonderful person and could never afford it in addition to her trip. The boys probably won't even go this year to Illuminations without the boat...spoiled brats. I think the best part is the no crowds afterwards. We took a taxi back to AKL. The insanity after Wishes and Fantasmic is almost more than I can stand!

Okay - question ........ How many "outfits" do you typically pack per person? DH thinks I'm an over-packer, but we've never really had a problem having too many clothes. We are going to be away from home for 9 days, so I figure we'll be wearing 1 outfit in the car, that means I need at least 9-10 per person ....... right??? We are staying in a 1 BR @ SSR with a W/D this year & we've never had that luxury in the past ...... BUT ...... do you really do laundry on vacation?!?!? I mean, seriously ...... doesn't mommy get 1 week off? ever??? :confused3

EE - I wish we were you!!! You lucky duck - leaving THIS Saturday. We're headed out 1 week behind you .... I'm desperately trying to get things in order!

DH went to the Disney store today - they have beach towels on sale for $5.99 each! Yeah, everybody got a new towel. DH & I each have 2 new Disney t-shirts & each kid has 3 new Disney shirts .... in addition to our 4th of July (matching) shirts from Old Navy & our Disney-Hawaiian outfits .... I think the girls have like 4 other matching outfits in addition to the family ones ...... and the boy has 2 outfits that correspond with the girls' matching ones (okay - have to tell you this one ...... the girls got shirts that say "It's my Brother's Fault", so I got him one that says "I didn't do it" - how hillarious will that be for them all to wear those at the same time!?!)

Okay - after reading about all the "new" clothes we've bought & are packing, I now believe we need to run out & buy a new (BIGGER) car to put it in!!! YIKES!!!

You'll get it done. I pack an outfit for each day and a couple extra undies and shirts for the crew. Never know what can happen. We are flying so I try not to bring too much. We didn't have anything extra last year and in fact ran out of DH's socks. Not sure why.

I wouldn't do laundry. ICK!

DS wears those saying shirts all the time. I like the one that says "I haven't lost my mind, I sold it on ebay." They are great. "I'm up and dressed. What more do you want?" He has the "I didn't do it one" too.

I have one section left in Chapter 3 of my book :cheer2: then one quiz and a test to do and I will have reached my 3 chapter goal before the trip. Section 3 really took it's toll on my time schedule, but the rest were a snap. I have to do z scores and it's been awhile. Asymptotes, parent functions, and inverse functions...OH MY!!!

Wow, I missed a few posts too.

I am so excited for everyone leaving this and next week. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Even leaving next week is so exciting because you are doing all the packing and final shopping. What can be better than shopping??? Well, WDW of course, but still a lot of fun.

I am on my way to Disney Store today too. :woohoo: I can't believe that towels are down to 5.99. I bought for 7.99 and thought that was pretty good. My DD7, that I thought was getting too old for the princess stuff, was upset she did not get Cinderella flip flops so I promised to take her to pick out some stuff. I was sad she is outgrowing stuff so I am thrilled and this may be the last summer she will enjoy it so I am going to take advantage.

EE and Tomar: HAVE A GREAT TRIP! I am so excited for you guys leaving this weekend. :goodvibes :wave2:

I wish we still had a Disney Store!!!

Anyway...I'm in a panic here. Where do I buy my annual passes once I'm down there. Guest Relations? I by pass the normal ticket window, right like I'm going to activate an annual pass?

Panic!!

Yes, we did the illumination cruise a couple of years ago. At that time it was VERY VERY difficult to book. I'm not sure that is true today, but if you are interested I would start calling NOW:)

Was it worth it? If you aren't staying at any of the resorts that allow you to walk to Epcot (like the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yatch Club) it may be. And if I were traveling with small children I would certainly do it again -- easier than trying to navigate the crush of people at the fireworks.

But to me, the fireworks are best viewed from the bridge -- higher is better-- (the boats stop UNDER this same bridge) near the Rose and Crown. I can usually be found there EVERY SINGLE NIGHT we are on property, watching the fireworks. But that's just me:)

Hey!! We are at the airport and waiting for our flight. We made it here without car trouble, they had our reservation and we are good to go :cool1:

The only trouble was me walking into the knife that had blackberry jelly on it with the sleeve of my white shirt. DH and I have on our "I'm with Grumpy" and "I'm with Dopey" shirts. I washed it out and tried to dry it, but it's still a little damp, but we can't leave home without them that's for sure!! It's a tradition.

I cannot wait to get there. Seems liked we waited so long.

EE2: Have a great flight. I can't believe you signed on from the airport! I know you are going to have a great trip. Say Hi to Mickey for all of us.
