First time in years, but it's from swimming. I had to take her back today as the first medicine didn't work. It was getting a bit better, but after 4 days it was still bothering her. She had plastic surgery on that ear drum too when she was 4 so it's difficult to tell what's really going on. I hope it gets resolved before school starts. As it turns out, I have to take her for a re check on my first day of work at 4:45...what a drag.
Praying she feels better!!!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

Ohhh, I hope she is feeling better. You really have to watch the ear infections. At least she can tell you now when they bother her. I hope she feels better.

The official countdown has kicked in. Today we looked at our watch and said this time next week we will be on the airplane! We are definately excited now. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

We are almost there. I am doing laundry and getting ready to get out of here. :moped:

I must admit that I was planning on just winging it for dinner tomorrow night because I was not sure when we would be there. We may need to order pizza from Dominos after some reports I have read about the oversold meal plan. We will have to wait and see. Thank goodness we have ADR's for every other day.

EE22: Good luck on your first day back.

TOMAR: Send kisses to that baby of yours.

I will be thinking of you all while we are there.

MKY is on her last night at WDW :(

Welcome Home MKY...I hope you had a wonderful time. I owe you the world for the ap rate alert. Rather ironic that you called me :goodvibes I guess if I wouldn't have called about the Disney Visa Deal we both would have been out in the cold!! You Rock!!!

:cheer2: Hope ya had the "BEST BIRTHDAY".. MKY!!!!! :cheer2:
Can`t wait to hear all the details !!:goodvibes

:wave2: Wow! What an adventure! I am totally exhausted. I don't go back to work till Wednesday, and sis goes tommorrow, she is letting me know too that she is beat, and I get to stay home 2 more days. :confused3 Oh, well..... . We got home last nite about 10pm, and ate > sleep. I unpacked today, and did my mail. Why did I need about 25 credit card applications / offers? I hate junk mail. Tonight I started on email. I had 189. kept 14 to read. (tomar I am not all through reading yours yet).

We had a great time. Usually we go at a nice slow pace, but Max (nephew) we did alot more commando (than I prefer). It was HOT. :sunny: 105+, humid, hardly any rain. (I could of used some).

pixiedust: TP2 > Sorry we never met up. We where at Mk on the 18th and it was Jammed. The most crowdest, day we had there. We went at opening and lasted only till about 4pm, my nephew ASKED to leave. He said it is too hot and crowded. I hope your trip is SPECTACULAR! :wizard: Aruba sounds interesting. You can always countdown that trip. ;)

EE22 > :teacher: Good luck, going back to school. Next year we can switch. I will work for you over halloween and you can come to my hospital over christmas. :thumbsup2 :wizard: Glad we got that ap rate! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo I still need to figure out how much I am saving, what is my rate?, and was the Visa deal better? It was great getting to talk to you. :) You should of called me with the map request, I could of gotten it already.

Tomar> thanks for the good wishes. Sis got my b-day cake (with hand painted simba) at BW bakery. It was wonderful. Best cake I ever ate. In Oct. we plan to order one for her b-day. (december 27th :confused3 ). You where Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo right about Chef's de france. Yes, I was dissappointed too. The food was dry? :confused3 Service ok, and 1 of the 2 days it did rain. We even lost our disney dining experince card there. (don't ask).

I sadly, cannot write a detailed day by day trip report. I plan to write a highlights /lowlights on the Trip report board, and I will let you guys know when I am done.

Well, 51 days!!!!!!!!!!! The Countdown continues! mky princess:

MKY!!!
Welcome home!!!
sorry you're home, but we missed you!!!

Students arrive tomorrow and there are way too many of them :(

I saved way more with the ap rates over the Disney Visa Deal. You rock my world Sweetie!!!

I need more info on the cake. We don't have any birthdays, but we have Christmas and that should call for a cake :rotfl:

Tomar and MKY you need to do Chefs for lunch :)
no one in the place and the French onion soup is very good with coffee (tea if you want ;) ) and a nice dessert! DD and I went right at noon when they open. Besides the Sprite the waiter dumped on the poor lady at the next table it was awesome!

Hi MKY

I`m hoping for ya!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Tomar, :surfweb: I finished all of your trip reports! Great reports. Nice pace at wdw. You will have to get info on aruba for TP2 ;) unless she changes her DH's mind. The BC concergie did not do a thing for the b-day. And they talked to sis when she went out early for the cake, said she mentioned it. Glad that Saratoga was on top of your anniversary.

The upgrade really wasn't all that great. We just don't use it much. We are alittle, lounge shy too. Just don't feel very comfortable in there. We have stayed once in the Poly concerige, & CR club (both we paid for) and once in YC we got upgraded too (comp). The poly probably was the best, but overall I would not do it again. Now the akl you can do the safari, so that might be worth it.

The cake. Boardwalk bakery. She ordered it about 2 weeks out. White cake with buttercream frosting. It was sooooooooooooo good. was around $14.00. She went over and picked it up in the morning. She says it was extra for the simba, but he was really cute. They can do alot of characters. but she said they had to check on simba. They called her back and said no problem. She has a chocolate allergy and they worked on that. I wish we knew how to post a picture, we took them. If she can figure it out I will.

EE22, I will check my stuff for any maps. Driving there is so easy. All parking is free, just show your parking slip from the resort. We went several times to other resorts and had no problem. Just saying we wanted to eat, shop etc.. . Basically all the signs are easy to follow. There are a few short cuts that I like. Take the road (old key west) is on and follow till the end that takes you out at saratoga springs (and other side of DTD shopping center). You can also follow the road from MK the one that Fort wilderness is on > follow that and takes you to the same road as DTD shopping center or stay straight and your in lake buena vista. The road in front of akl follow it to west 192. I will look for a map. There are alot of speed traps and sherriff police around for speeding. So you need to be careful.

Now I need to work on checking some car prices for October and review my adr's in case I want to drop or change some.

OH !, I would love to see a picture of your special Birthday Cake with "Simba" on it!! :goodvibes ;)

Tomar, unfortunately I am lucky I can pull up the internet. So it will be up to her to figure out the picture thing.

Today, I called and changed some ADR's for October. Cancelled France, Canada, and Living Seas. Added some Contemp. steakhouse, gf cafe, and kona. We found that we usually use these as a fall back if we stay at the resort, or come back early & could not get in without adr's at all. With the dining plan everything is pre-arranged and we only successfully walked into China with a walk in. So you are really kinda locked into your pre-arranged plans and can't alter at all, if you don't want to eat counter service.

Hope everyone has a great day. I will be back at work tommorrow and Vac. will be truely over. Oh well, 50 days!!!!!!! I know after October's vac. I will be really depressed and not going for months and months anywhere.

MKY princess:

MKY- I`m just learning alot more now,(about the computer)
Im sure the cake was very beautiful :flower1:

I`m gunna keep Le Ciellier on the "to do" list.....since we had never been (and skipped it this past trip
SO we...shall...see !! ;) :goodvibes

I wish you a good first day back to work tomorrow!! pixiedust:
