Got my ressie for December

Hi everyone...really busy, but glad to see everyone still around.

Candi...yes, book what you think and you can break up the group later for different rides. Remember you cannot park hop yet with FP+ but you can ride different rides in the group and change them later.

From my experience don't use FP+ for fast loading rides...very hard to change later. Like Ariel...hard to get a more popular ride after you book that. Times modify easier after you book them too if you don't like the time. Try to get them close to what you want.

Toy Story "sells" out so book that one and the new Mine Car ride too. Do it the day it opens too. Watch for the tiers at Studios and Epcot too.

Yes I agree with EE, book as much as you can first and then revise later when the group starts putting their requests in.

I was shocked by the change too. It took forever to find some of the information I was looking for.

Thanks for the Fast Pass advise. I will take your advise since this is our first trip.

I figured Toy Story would be a sell out, but what else has worked for you in the past? Any old touring plans you want to share would be great!

It has been bitter cold here as well. My internet is ssssoooo slow, and I think it is because everyone is inside surfing the web at the same time.

Hi Bob,
Yeah this has been the worst winter EVER!!! We had another blizzard Sunday which cancelled my flight to sunny warm Florida.
I was so bummed I could cry. Tried to change flight but no luck.
I will be back to my happy place in April and July, though!
My DS17 is waiting to hear if he got accepted to UCF. Crossing our fingers.

Hi Everyone...I finally had time to look at this.
Good report although it's still cold here but 20's is better than -12 and wind chills of -40.
I bought the first half of our Halloween plane tickets!! I have to wait to buy the return flight in MAY!! Then I'll have to buy the kids' tickets too. Loads of cash.
I also was able to load our very, very old annual pass vouchers from DVC. It was nearly $700 to buy tickets for Oct and Dec for DH and I so I am just using the AP.
That was even BEFORE the recent price increase.

Hiya everyone!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just watching Oscar fashion of E.
Have to thank Bug on doing my avatar. I was completely lost.
Candi we also found that you have to do some sort of planning with where your FP+ is located.
We didn't think about it till after we got there and then wound up crossing the park way to many times. Thought I had allowed enough time
but sometimes it was tight. And then the should we go all the way from tommorrowland to BTMRR? Or blow off and stay where you are?
But, think I am a little better at it now. Definately agree > that it is easier to change times once booked. Not sure why but it is easier.
We did the chicago auto show this week > that was nice. But 2 hrs to get home on I55. Ugh. It was for only 30 miles. OMG.
Yes, weather here is all over the place. If its not snowing > its freezing. Really missing our trip in March. This is our first year in quite a few that we are not going.

Midori's High School canceled school for 2 day, 1 late start day and 1 early dismissal. Wednesday we are supposed to receive more wintery mix.

I guess we'll close down the town.... What do you guys think?

We are off today due to ice. We could have had a late start, but I'm happy DS is home.
RMHM, he says that's how it is in Memphis when they had an ice storm. The entire city shut down. He couldn't believe it!
He said there was ONE truck out days before trying to treat I 40. He found is very amusing.

MKY - WOW!!! Windows open !!!! Its' between 28 and 38 here and I can't stay warm.

EE - The highway department sprays brine and sand on the roads and then later you see graders not trucks with snow plows I mean graders out scrapping the highways.

They use those here too when the snow is really deep and there are not enough plows. They shelf the snow for the next storm on the snow emergency routes.
I don't know how the people in Mass. are doing it with their snow. Crazy amounts they are not used to.

I did get to plan a little for Halloween time. Short trip, but must go. There are two parties when we are there. Not sure if we will do both or not. That might be too much for DH.

You are toooooooooooo funny RMHM.
Ok, so the window open > might have more to do with my age. Last night in single digits and it was still open. Slept with 2 blankets and 1sheet. Of course Yoda is another source of heat, at the bottom of my bed.

EE22, so glad you got time off with DS. This ice here hoping it goes away. They are talking 50 next week. Yesterday I went to 3 stores for salt for the side walk. Target had nothing > and all there summer pool and picnic stuff is out. Ugh.
October > you will love it. I think the first time we went for MNSSHP I had bought 3 different days. It was so nice. They used to have more. They had different shows similar to the xmas party. They also had fortune tellers at several spots, special pictures and it printed right there for you. Also more face painting locations. We [1 yr] even went to an AP party at liberty tree just for ap people. Then the also had the candy areas, fireworks, and dance party's. But, last year I only went to 1. It rained the whole night > and we where soaked. I think we left after the parade.
