June/July/August 2006 Code watch

So just got off the phone at exactly 10 p.m. .....talked to Janice and changed our ressies for the first 3 days of our july 2-8 trip to the CR from Poly. Saved $270 with AAA rate. SHe didnt ask for our AAA number. Checked the codes (heard her doing it)...NADA...said that we were making a smart decision switching our ressies but if something does come out we can get the AP rate. She also said availabilty at both resorts for those dates was good.

See everyone in the morning....nite!

I saw this posted in the sticky thread reminding us not to post non-public codes. I thought it was interesting.

"...the same applied to regular codes that haven't broken yet. The people here on these boards usually Know the new fl res, pass codes before I do.. the system will allow them sometimes two days before they're vallid. (so the system folks can check the new codes for glitches) In this situation, if we type the code into folios for details, it will either say "pending, do not discuss", or just no result. Some agents will go ahead and book a no result code."

Tomorrow is my DS's first birthday! :cloud9: Maybe that will bring some pixie dust to all of us! :wizard:

That is very interesting. I wonder if that is what happened tonight. The OP stated she was put on hold and then the CM came back and said no. I bet he saw the code but didn't understand the comments or something. Oh I really hope for the morning.

Makes one wonder. It would explain why some leak especially if there is someone new. I have no clue of course since I don't work there nor do I know anyone who did.

I do know that they did "test codes" through the catalog to make sure they work so who knows.

I called right before 10 and when I inquired the CM said I already had the Fl resident rate, I said I do??? She said yes, I told her I believed in was the AAA rate to which she responded, you're right you do have the AAA rate. Then she proceeded to ask if she should check and why, is it a better rate????

Guess I got a CM who is either new or doesn't know what the heck she's doing!

Either way, no FL resident or AP released past June 3rd she said after asking.

What catalog? I did notice in the Mickey Moniter that the code was EZN and on the Passholder site it is EZO. Problem is they both quote the same dates in the offer so still nothing past 6/3 but I wonder why the different codes. :confused3

Email?

Sorry if I get anyone excited, no I didn't receive an email. What I am wondering is how do I make sure I have my email address regitered just in case they do go out. I am registered on www.disneyworld.com and on the passholder site as well, but is there a way I can make sure my email is in the right place? Never had to worry this much in the past, but this year seems to be different.

Reporting for duty! Nothing yet...

Checked the AP web site this morning at 5:30. It wont let me log in, keeps saying invalid ID number. I know it's good, it worked last night.

Wonder what that means??? :confused3 :confused3

That happens to me every morning until after 6 or 6:30 am. I'm not sure why, but it's been the same every day for weeks!

Could this be the day??? Waiting to see if KingGoofy's wife gets a shopping spree .......

The Disney catalog and their Best Guest Promotions always had codes that they "tested" to make sure they were correct and worked.

I think the different codes might help them determine what advertising is more effective? Don't know for sure.

BTW...Another night dreaming about codes. I've completely lost it!
At least this time, when I checked the codes in the morning, they were out! They only went through August 13th though, but they did include June! I woke up thinking that was a random date, until I realized that that's the start of free dining.
:goodvibes
Thinking positive thoughts that today's the day...preferably first thing in the morning so we can all go to work in a great mood!

reporting in, trying to stay positive. we leave in 38 days to go back and really really want a code!
you can never have enough extra spending money.

reporting for duty - hoping, wishing, crossing my fingers, saying a prayer, asking for pixie dust and begging Disney to Pa-leeeeeeeeeeez let it be today! :yay:
