a sweat shirt and sweat pants?? What is up with that? We have only had two sunny days in about 3 weeks and today is cold and down pouring here. When is Spring ever going to get here. This is killing me
I have on sweats AND a sweater AND slippers! It was 58 degrees in the house when I woke up. brrrrrrrrrr Forecast is calling for high 70s this week. Do we dare believe it?! It really feels like we skipped spring and summer and went right into fall..
(In another two weeks we'll be complaining about the heat and humidity. )
We were in WDW last week in 90 degrees and sunny every day. I got home yesterday and couldn't even see my house - my lawn had grown about 8 inches with all this godforsaken rain!!
This is horrible, isn't it. First a really bad winter and now constant rain and cold.
Two weeks ago I travelled to Florida for a little break. When I left here it was in the 40's and when I came back it was still 48 and raining. Florida is desperate for rain like ours.
I'm right there with you. The kids have been begging to go swimming, but it's just too cold! The only advantage I can see right now it that I am saving on air conditioning! One of these days the switch will flip and it will be hot and humid. Until then I will continue to shiver!
Same here glo, and I just finished bringing in two pots with flowers, I had to take the flowers out, they were drowning in water. If I hear anything about a drought this summer , I'm going to throw a hissy fit!
It is really hot here! I went to layout and could only stay out about 20 mins cause I was sweating to death! And that was with some wind and being in a bathing suit!!
It is 51 degrees outside my door right now with a cold steady rain...does that sound like Spring almost summer to you guys? I would take 60's...this is yucky !!!
Us too Glo. We are heading to WDW in 26 days. My Dad tells me it's 91 there. Can you imagine how hot that will feel to us as our bodies haven't adjusted to heat yet.
My DH sweats terribly during a regular summer never mind this extended winter. We are bumming. Not to mention we are going during the rainy season. Can you imagine if we get there and all it does is rain? Yikes talk about your double whammy.
Oh well I suppose I'll stop whinning as at least I'll be in WDW.
They say that this is our 10th consecutive weekend with rain in the forecast. It's still cool enough to wear a jacket and long pants- and it's the first of June. We are at least 20 degrees below normal.
