I am planning a trip for the last week of June. I know it is one of the most crowded times of the year but I don't have a lot to compare that to. I have been there around Presidents Day. Last trip it rained for two days straight so the parks were empty. We didn't really wait to get on anything those days. When it did clear up there were definitly a lot of people but it wasn't unbearable. I am planning on going to the parks early and then taking a break in the afternoon and go back to the parks for the evening. My question is how fast do the parks fill up? If I get there when the parks open how much time do I have before things are packed? How crowded will it really be? Just long lines or will you not even be able to walk around? Thanks!

We have done WDW up until June 20. Before Father's Day, the crowds are moderate, but after Father's Day the crowds have gotten worse. You have a good game plan to get there when the parks open and taking a break in the afternoons. Take advantage of Fast Pass and EMH at MK to do Fantasyland. Arrange to do Eride night at MK if possible to do the big rides there with less crowds.

Just remember, a crowded day at WDW is still far better than a quiet day at home!!!!!! Go and have a blast!!!

This year we were there June 11-16. The crowds were moderate in size, but the parks were very "do-able". However, we read reports after we got back that things "exploded" there after the 18th.

We were there this past June from the 14th until the 27th.
The first week was pretty do-able. Not too bad crowds & Fastpasses really help.
BUT I swear starting on the 21st the crowds swelled!!! That last week we were there we really noticed a huge difference in the crowds. We went to Enights on the 24th, which I felt was pretty much a waste because it was PACKED!!!!! (I read I was not the only one that felt this way about that Enight either)

we are going in June again but we are arriving June 4th & leaving the 17th. We are hoping to beat the peak of the crowds.

Because my DW is a teacher, we usually go during June or July. It is better before June 20, if possible. If not, late June is like President's Day weekend, but hot. But even then, it is still the best!
