Think about making our first trip to FW next June. We bought at 27 ft Jayco last year and was thinking about taking it down from PA. It will be our first trip towing it 1000 miles each way. Is it worth going in June? Will it be even too hot to sit outside at night?
Thanks! Matt

Hi DisneyinPA,

We just returned from 12 days in June at the Fort. Yes, it was hot, even at night. Think the hottest it got was 104 during the day and low 80's at night. But being from Michigan we did not mind the heat at all considering the past 2 winters we had. Not to mention the cold & rainy spring/summer we've had this year. IMO the heat & humidity is different & more bearable than MI.

It was our first time visiting WDW in June with our 5th wheel and actually crowd wise it was not that bad. We were there from June 13th - 26th. As long as you have a good plan during your visit you should be okay. We made sure to have plenty of water & the frog togs around our necks.

Hope you guys have a wonderful time. :mickeyjum

We went last week of May first week of June once. Never again. Too hot for us. Not too hot for others. It's gonna be quite a shock to your system going from Pa to Fl.

Yes but that is true any time of the year. We went in March, we left here it was negative 2 degrees got to Florida first day there was nearly 90. :firefight

"Too Hot" really depends on you.

Will it be very hot? (upper 90s for temp and humidity) Yes! Count on it. Although it will be slightly (not much) better than July/August.
If that is too hot for you to spend most of the day outside in the parks or around the Fort, not sure. I usually go in the summer due to DS' school schedule. But only 1 more summer of that!

Honestly, it is typically hotter in St Louis when we are at the Fort. And StL doesn't have WDW.
