Las Ramblas People?
We are renting an apartment in Las Ramblas, it looks pretty cool. We can have our own bar and dance party. I am not sure how we are getting to the ship. Any advice out there? Maybe the Novotel bus will pick us up.

We are renting an apartment in BCN also, we are still looking into which one.
I know it is getting close, but we have a backup plan with a hotel reservation.
We arrive in BCN 31 May!

(My OH will find this so strange - he thinks making friends on a mess. board is weird!)

Sinthia, glad to see you are bringing some more girls. We have twin 7 yr. old daughters, this will also be their 6'th Disney Cruise. Spoiled! Really it's all for mom and dad! We are not at either of those hotels. We plan on using the Disney bus with the castle tour to get back to London that you can only book on board. Makes me nervous not having it prebooked. Maybe the family driving their car to the port can cram my family of 4 in their car.
Do you know if this tour will drop you off in London at a hotel of your choice or does it have to be one of the DCL hotels?

Just a word of warning it is the Queens Official Birthday on Sat 6/12 which means London will be heaving as it is the Trooping the Colour ceremony!!
Held as part of Queen Elizabeth's annual official birthday celebration. The idea of marching the regiment's colors by the troops as a rallying point dates back to the 17th century and has been incorporated into the British monarch's birthday celebration since 1805.
Trooping the Colour is English pageantry at its best. Over a thousand brightly clad troops and hundreds of horses march the parade route, which extends from Buckingham Palace along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and back again. Hundreds of musicians and drummers add to the excitement.
The ceremony starts at 11 am, when the Royal Procession arrives and The Queen takes the Royal Salute as she drives slowly past the Royal Guards and the Household Cavalry. After the inspection, the Royal Family gathers at 1 pm on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch a flyover of RAF planes. It's all very impressive!
A great thing to see if you can get there but it makes London very busy.
Also I dont know if this will affect any of the coach tours around London as as you can imagine quite a few roads are shut off that day

hi sinthia! welcome to our meet thread!
i've only been on here since last week (booked a last minute deal) but everyone on here has been very welcoming and friendly!
Wondering how we can be added to the FE list and the roster?
Our information is as follows:
Orest (44 yrs old)
Sinthia (43 yrs old)
Zoe (9 yrs old)
Dana (6 yrs old)
We also booked a 12 GTY and was assigned Stateroom #6537, it's been a long time since we were in an inside stateroom without the split bathroom.
Has anyone been successful upgrading to an oceanview or balcony once they were on board? If so, what was the cost to upgrade?
I think this thread needs an official name. Someone mentioned "Movin the Magic" Any thoughts?
On the door magnets I have "sailing the Magic to New Ports of Call".
Welcome sgawlak and sinnika. If sinnika lets me know the names of everyone in the cabin, I'll make a door magnet for you.
I also need cabin numbers. ThanksAlex
was just thinking about it earlier.
first cruise, for dinner, we had 2 couples as our tablemates, they were both really quiet, getting any conversation was like getting blood out of a stone. our servers were great and paid us a lot of attention because we actually talked to them, unlike the others. bottom line, we didnt enjoy the dining as much as we should have.
second cruise, we were sat with people from our cruise meet thread and had an amazing time.
would anyone on 2nd dining be interested in linking reservations so we can all sit with likeminded disney people?
FE up to 19 cabins! this is so much bigger than my last 2!
oh, and the world is getting smaller. turns out my manager and my ex assistant manager are both going to be on this cruise.
