Just checked the weather at weather.com. Right now it looks like we will have Good weather for the 3 day land portion of our trip. I hope this holds out, a little cloudy would be nice!

We don't need anything thanks to a recent pirate-themed birthday party, but thank you for the generous offer! On a related note, I will have small bottles of bubbles to share for the sail-away party which I will also bring to the DIS meet.

As I was coming back to work from lunch, I told my coworker, next week at this time I'll be soaking up the sun at Blizzard Beach! She wasn't too jealous because her family is coming to Disney 2 days later.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

the past two days have drug on by, but I am busy friday, saturday and Sunday, so hopefully that will help, this is our very first cruise and my kids still have NO clue!! They think we are going to the beach for a whole week.
That's true, just didnt know how we were getting to them! (hee hee)

I am going to watch Holiday in the Sun (filmed in Atlantis) this weekend to get in the "mood"!! My daugther's favorite movie, everytime we watch it she says,"I wanna go to the Bahama's"

I cant wait to surprise her. This is her 12th birthday trip, as well!!!

What a great surprise for your daughter. I can only imagine her expression as you get close to the ship. From everything I've read, you go over a hill and there she is!

Ok this week sped by for me....

One week from today I will be driving down I-95 towards Florida! We're breaking the drive up, so the boys don't drive me too crazy. Now I really feel time ticking to get moving on doing everything.

How is everyone else holding up? I hope everyone who is doing a land portion before the cruise has wonderful weather and small crowds!!!!

What about humidity? That's the thing that I am really worried about. It has been a long time since I really suffered through high humidity.

JrsyBoy - I did not see anything about forecasted humidity levels. Living in southeast Texas, I don't even think about humidity, I just live with it.

232271 - I can't believe you have kept this cruise a secret from your kid's, I will be anxious to see their faces at the dismeet.

This past week has sped by for me too. It is finally hitting me that my days are numbered as far as getting things done. I did finally put some clothes into a suitcase tonight. My kids still have three days of school left. They dont really "do" anything except have parties and field trips so I am just as busy helping in the classroom, buying teacher's gifts, etc. My dd's kindergarden teacher called me at home tonight to ask if I could put together an ice cream party for the last day of school. Unfortunately for her, she got to experience my new found ability NOT to say yes to everyone.

Hi All. Can't believe it's the last week-end! Luckily it's a long week-end because I have a lot to do before we leave. Started laundry last night so we should be able to start packing soon. Goal for today is door sign and thank you envelopes.

Hard to believe a week from now we will be at the Radisson. I can hardly wait. School got out here last Wednesday so I am in vacation mode already.
Finished the shopping last night, and I am doing laundry today, with the hopes of pulling down the suitcases later on.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!!

I'm going on Wonder, too. Wth my mom,dad,aunt,great aunt, uncle, couzin and sister. We have a problem though. The kids are in different age groups. My sister is teens, my couzin is Adult (she just turned 18) and I'm 'big kid'.

It isn't that great but truthfully, I don't care if we are all in different age groups, they wouldn't ditch me...this time...i think... Well, I' only 12 and of course a 14 year old and an 18 year old aren't gonna wanna hang with me. Aww well... ill hang out with myself...im fun.

My DD will be 12 on our cruise (just turned)
she will be 7th grade next year...maybe you'll get

Thank God for you guys! I had someone on another thread ask me last week if I had finished packing yet. I hadn't even started and was wondering if I was way behind. DW has been dancing all morning because when we woke up there was less than 72 hours before we were flying off. See you all soon!
