VERY COOL!:goodvibes I am so excited I can't stand it! We are almost to DOUBLE DIGITS!

 :cool1: Yahooooooooooooooooo 100 days  :cool1:

30 more days and we can book our port excursions, boarding time and Palo (if any are available)

YEHHHHH!!! 100 day, I was just sitting her with my daughter and started to scream that we are at 100 day!!!! Getting more excited everyday :)

If you check out your reservation on the DCL website:cool1::cool1: it says 99 days til you set sail!!! Double digits!

I just saw that. I figured I would get my calendar out when I get to work. Lets see what is true....We could actually be one day closer...

Yes, it seems that the countdown calendar must count the 30th as a day and the Disney website must not take into consideration the day you get on the boat. I will go with the 99 day.

We will have to remember that when we want to book out excursions that they have us 1 day ahead of what we have here. I am just hoping that that I can still book the excursion we want in Nassau and get a decent time for the bus to the parks..

I was wondering about the 99 day thing too, I went to DCL website hoping for a "glitch" and they would let me book didn't happen.

Do newbies have to wait 70 or 75 days? Not that it matters I have April 16 circled red on my calender hoping for a decent boarding time and departure to WDW. Totally flexible as long as we are on a ship and in Disney doesn't matter what time. Really want Palo brunch ressie.

What is the earliest time that we can go on the website and book out reservations?

12:01 am April 16 for excursions and Palo spa and kid club ressies and 3:00 am for boarding times that is what I read on one the threads

12:01 am that is great. I will be setting my alarm clock....

I am hoping dd doesn't have to work early and she can stay up and make the arrangements she is going to school for Event Planning so this will be good practice

Hi, Everyone! We are all so excited that we are under the 100 day mark! I ordered a cute pirate costume for my daughter, but it was too small. I ordered the next size up, so hoping that will fit!

I have been thinking (over thinking??) the FE. Is there a specific night when each person is assigned to give out their gifts? Or do people just hand them out whenever?

thanks!

Hi All,
I haven't been on much as work and school has been overloading me. However, today, I paid in full, had all my points transferred and confirmed my SPH room (yeah)!!! I also, just by chance when cleaning up last week, found a pirate costume I wore to a Halloween party 10 years ago! pirate:

Also, we will be adding a friend of my son's so 4 it is! :cutie:

Regarding the FE - I'm not sure as I don't think they did them back when we cruised on DCL the first time. Maybe Capt Stitch knows? :confused3

I am a newbie I don't think there are any rules written in stone. We could all choose a day and go with it or choose two days so the kids aren't overwhelmed.

I like the idea of spreading it out, especially since it is an 8 night. If we had two FE "days" (probably sea days would be good, then they have something to look forward to). Maybe Sunday or Monday and then again on Friday? I'm not sure how we figure who goes on which days.:surfweb:

Spreading out is good currently there are only 8 "cabins" signed up we could decide with "rock, paper, scissors" :)

Friday isn't a bad idea but depending on the FE gift some people may need to go in the beginning of the cruise.

Other than disney911, Kimmysmom, TKSC, Waitingtocruise & wildcatwmn email me at CruisingtheMagin612@comcast.net to join in on the fun.

Also, we should plan a meet and greet. Usually there is one the first day, typically near the pool at 3:00 or 4:00. Somehow on our last Carnival cruise, my husband and I missed everyone (they swear they were all there - guess we had the right ship, wrong pool bar). We could then, based on the wishes of the group plan another one later in the week.

Below is the tentative dinner schedule I "borrowed" from one of the other 8 night cruises:

Day 1 NYC casual attire
Day 2 At Sea formal
Day 3 At Sea casual
Day 4 Nassau Pirate Night
Day 5 Castaway Cay casual
Day 6 Port Canaveral casual
Day 7 At Sea semi-formal
Day 8 At Sea casual

Ohhhh. Thanks for posting the schedule you "borrowed"! Exciting!

Regarding the FEs, I love the ideas of assigning days, or spreading out the gifts....

Do you think we will have more cabins sign up as we get closer?

Love the idea of a meet and greet too. Maybe one of the first two sea days?
