Excited to find this thread! I requested to be added to the Facebook group as well. I'm looking forward to making connections with some of you. This will be the first cruise for all of us (husband, myself, and almost two year old daughter), and we're really excited! First lesson learned: book the next cruise earlier so we can join a fish extenders group.

We made the mistake of making FE crafts, then following up in getting in a group. Anyone else "dangling" out there?

Traveling two families:
Family 1: one 9 yo girl
Family 2: one 9 yo girl and one 11 yo boy

Both families include one mom and dad each. 40+ yo wiling to participate or not. No preference. Just want to make this AMAZING for the kids.

Here's what I suggest. Reach out to the individual DISers by message to see if they want to join a new FE group #4. Even if you have one family say yes, put together a simple list of: family name, cabin number, and list of who is traveling with you (DH, DW, DD, DD) which ages as they helps make sure the gifts are appropriate. Share the list with the group and you're set to participate in the fun.

You could have up to 6 families, 12 parents, 7 children.


If anyone has other suggestions, please share! This is my first FE and I booked late (6 weeks from cruise date) so I felt lucky to find five other families to join our FE group #3 so close to sail time. We kept it open for two weeks and closed at the 28-day mark for FE shopping and crafting.
