June 28, 2014 ~ Fantasy ~ Eastern Caribbean

Getting excited about this cruise... Guess it is time to pay for it!

Does anyone have any info about the 4th of july? I am wondering if they will do an additional night of fireworks, or do you think they will move the pirate night to the 4th? I want to avoid scheduling Palo on pirate night.

Thanks for the help!:grouphug:

I've been wondering the same thing... the only info I have found is that they have a small celebration somewhere but its not a big deal from what I gather... kind of disappointed....

We were in the Caribbean over the 4th in 2012 and they did not move fireworks to that night nor did they do an extra set for that evening. I was kind of disappointed that they didn't, but they did have a special show in the atrium that evening if I'm remembering correctly. They also have a special menu in the MDRs and the characters are all in Americana costumes.

Good luck to those booking tonight @ 12 AM.

See you all in 76 days!

We have just booked our excursions, and very excited! Our cruise is June 12th... Staying at the disney yacht club beforehand.... It will be myself and my daughter... She picked all the excursions so we have
Turtle cove
Teens wild day at castaway key
Butterflies in st Maarten.

Is there going to be a meet up ? Please let me know

There should be a thread for your cruise date. This is the date specifically for 6/28.

Hi, This is our first Disney Cruise. This is a great place to get information so thank you. I was wondering if we could sign up for the fish hooks things, if it isn't too late. We have 2 kids, Ethan (7) and Madelyn (4). Thanks again. Tminus 2 hours to book :)

Thank you, Heather

I will get you on the list tonight. Do you have a stateroom assignment yet?

Booked our excursions Sunday night, and got most everything we wanted. DD was a little disappointed that the zipline adventure was full. The website shows availability, but once the time is selected, it says not available for our party size (which is 2 people). I've checked all time slots; I guess there must be one spot left in each time slot.

BTW...can we be added to the FE list? I thought DD wouldn't be interested, but I was wrong!

ok, i have you on the gold list. Do you have your stateroom number yet?

8664

Edited to add: Thanks for notating on the FE list that Lee is a girl! Great catch!! When I told her that I had us added to the list, she said "Make sure they know I'm a girl!". I looked at the list, and you'd already caught it. I don't think of her having the masculine spelling, since she's named after my grandmother. She on the other hand, has been been asked on many occasions why she has a boy's name.

Where are you looking to zipline at? We've been in St. Maarten before. It wasn't through Disney and didn't require reservations. We are planning to go again this year. Loterie Farm - they have a lot of information available on their website.

We were looking that the DCL excursion in St. Thomas. Thanks for the suggestion, but I looked at the website, and it says minimum age is 18. DD is 16 and she's the one that really wanted to zipline.

Guess we'll just have to plan for another cruise. :scratchin

The 18 age limit is only for the extreme. They have 3 separate courses. I've been on two of the three because my DDs aren't old enough for the extreme either. DD (6) was 4 when we went the first time. She made the height requirements for the kids course so I went on it with her (she's tall for her age). Then, while I went on the adult course, she sat with my mom in the tree top seating area and when another group of kids came, the guide grabbed her and let her go again for free.

Check out the site again. We'll be back this year. We're hoping she stretches tall and can make the big course. I think she's going to be within an inch from the height requirement for it. She's zip lined in St Maarten and Alaska, as well as her mini line in our backyard, so I think she'll be disappointed if she doesn't get to hit the big course.

Hope to see you there!

Hi we are in stateroom 7021. Thanks and can't wait!! This is going to be so much fun.
