I know this is just under the wire... but, we have decided to do the fe... my son is REALLY excited about it.
(Oh and as I was reading through the posts I saw a question about food allergies... my son is severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts)

We received our docs yesterday. My mother was so excited when she received hers that she called me to say she had received them and how the cruise seems real now that she has her docs in hand.

We actually got our cruise docs on Thurs. We finally have our hotels, flights, car, & petsitter all booked, which has been a real chore since this is a multi-stop vacation and we added my mother to it just a couple months ago.

We are so ready to be on our way... except spouse is stressing about packing!

I just wanted to make sure there were no food allergies in the FE group? I figured not since no one had mentioned it? Also, are we supposed to say who it's from on them or is it a surprise?

My kids are allergic to peanuts and treenuts, but don't worry about making special allowances for them. They're troopers and know to ask whether something has nuts first.

Tootsie Rolls are my favorite candy and I've brainwashed my kids to think they can't eat them for Halloween....

Well we finally got our other cabins Cruise docs I was starting to get a little nervous. So we are now ready to go!!! Who am I kidding we are nowhere near ready. Still worrying too much about what to pack. Trying to also make our FE. Found some FE gifts finally though and got those ordered. The boys are counting down to the end of school and are getting really excited for our trip, although they were bummed because they thought Alaska would have snow.
Mari, good to know we are neighbors. Looking forward to meeting.

I spend half my waking time thinking about FE gifts.. for me its like doing favors for the kids parties, I totally obsess. Still haven't come up with something I like for the DH's. If they're anything like mine they would like any expensive electronic out there, not much into the knick knacks. So I spend my time I still can't believe its so close.

I think they will exchange on board. I'm pretty sure I read they will up to a certain amount. That leads to the question...should we tip in Canadian? They will be going to US ports to spend it...

Are you guys packing rain boots for the kids? DS doesn't have any, and I don't know if I should get some. He does have a rain coat. I figure, if it's raining in port, he will stay in the stroller anyway. Also, has anyone ever used "Babies Travel Lite" for diapers and stuff? Kind of pricey but convenient. I think we are going to pass, but what a great service! It out probably cheaper than checking a bag full of diapers and stuff.
