Dang haha, I just found this forum. I kept wondering if there was someplace to talk to other people who would be on my cruise. I read a lot of the tips and thanks guys cause it helped. I'm so excited, I've never been to Europe. Only less than a month until we set sail on the Magic!

Found this video of the Magic's arrival to Barcelona in 2007. It's probably the best firework show I've ever seen. Makes me more and more anxious/ excited for the cruise! Disney never ceases to impress me.

Here's a design of an old DIS magnet that a couple of guys on the June 15th group revised to include the FBers. The original designer wasn't reachable but had put the design out ages ago with a "feel free to use" - so here it is, complete with modifications if anyone is interested.

I'm still mixed in my feelings about DIS and FB because I prefer my trip planning in one or two places (here and for non-Disney ports, etc., cruise critic). But I do enjoy getting to know everyone a bit better in the way that FB allows - I think what I miss is that some people just TOTALLY go over to FB and that means those who don't FB don't get a chance to know them, and they miss out on some of the plans and fun things here on DIS. Maybe I'm just old-school....

Anyway, here's the graphic in case anyone wants to make a magnet or something.

We are leaving in about 10 days so I wanted to give a final update to the FE list - which is really the same as it's been for a few weeks now - I have all the GTY cabins updated except for just drea who I have not heard from and doesn't appear to have been active for some time. I was not able to email a message to her as that option was not available from the PM portion - so unless they are able to provide a cabin number for us onboard, we won't know where to deliver their goodies (or even if they are sailing).

Here's the link to the Final FE List. Participants, if you have any difficulty seeing this, please let me know. I will bring just a few extra copies with me, so I hope you will each bring your own. As you know, DISers may have been the originators (I think) of the whole FE exchange, but it's caught on with other groups, so just because you see a FE hanging outside someone's door doesn't mean they are part of our group. While we don't personalize our gifts, we do tag them with the cabin number we need to deliver to so it makes it easier when we're out and about on the ship to drop things off!

Also, if there are changes to your cabin number after boarding, please let me know either at the Meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3 PM or leave a message at our cabin (6116) either on the phone or write a note and leave it on our fish. I'll post any cabin changes on our door (or attached to our fish) the first night, so if you want to pop by to check, be sure to do that. We're located just off the aft staircase on Deck 6 port side, so it's not too far out of the way (which is why we love that location!)

Disney has an excursion for St. marks, Doge Palace and Gondola ride that looks interesting. However, I have a 16 year old DD and the family version of the tour has been sold out for every time I look, EXCEPT that yesterday two seats became available. So, now I have my family of four split between the family tour and and adults only tour on July 4. The family and adult tours look identical, but Disney won't let me book my DD on the adult tour. Is anyone planning to give up two tickets to the 8:15 July 4 tour? If so, please PM me. Thanks

When you board, go check with the port excursions desk. Often things open up on boarding day, or disney holds extra spots they don't put up online.
