Does anybody here happen to have an extra child booked on their reservation that they were planning on "dropping" before final payment is due? The reason I ask is (as I posted a few posts ago) I am trying to add my son's friend in our room (that sleeps 5) --we have 3 people booked in it as of now... but I CAN'T b/c of capacity limits. (Already switched My Mom off & added my friend-- the kid's Mom). I was thinking if someone here already had an extra kid booked (and wanted to help me out more than you could imagine), we could do a name change on your reservation. I will treat you to dinner at Palo for your generosity! Seriously. Obviously, the kid would stay in OUR room with me, my ds & his Mom!!!! Anybody?

I actually did this for someone on DIS one year-- I put their kid on my reservation b/c their room only slept 3 & there were 4 of them (one still in a porto-crib!)

I just DON'T get how I can't add another person to our room, YET I can make an entire NEW reservation for 2 or 3 people online still!!! (Nothing for 4 or I would have already done that!)

I think JUST BEING on Castaway Cay on your birthday will make it pretty unforgettable!!! My 10 year old said he will join you on Pelican Plunge for your birthday! (We did it April when we stopped there on our way to Barcelona on the Transatlantic-- It was soooo much fun!!!)

Hello all the votes are in and this lanyard is the winner. So far we have had 3 FE families respond that would like to help with payment as a FE gifts.

GREAT CHOICE! Especially since the RED will not look like any of the DCL lanyards! We probably need about 10- 15 families to chip in for these as their FE gift, correct??? Again, we did this on the TA & it worked out nicely! Of course, I think we had about 60-70 families participating in FE on that cruise! It took days to pass out all my gifts!!! BUT, EVERYONE wore their lanyards all week-- It made it nice when we would go into Rockin' Bar D for a show-- we all sat together-- nobody was ever alone!!! (Our group also WON every game/ contest on board that week we had sooo many people!!!) If you would like me to put you in contact with the woman who organized this on the TA, please let me know. She was most generous & did an amazing job organizing (I think she ordered like 500 lanyards!!!)

We also had 2 families who are not doing the FE respond and they want to buy lanyards. And have ordered at least 22 of them.
With all the FE families counted so far we would need 90 lanyards. The minimum order is 100 lanyards.

I have PM other families not currently on the FE list to ask them if they are interested in buying lanyards, waiting for more responses. I think the deadline/cut off date should be by April 1st. So I would have time to collect payment and process the order. My daughter and I are willing to help with printing the logo we pick onto card stock and making sure they arrive onto the ship.

CSWAN1 are you willing to help with this part since we live close together we can meet and get them ready.

Does everyone like the logo GoofyIsAsGoofyDoes made a few posts back? If yes we will use it.

Disney hasn’t released actual rotations yet, but past five night cruses have worked like this:

DR1 - Show dinner - dress: cruise casual
DR2 - Show dinner - dress: cruise casual
DR2 - Pirate Night - dress: “Pirate” or casual
DR3 - Show dinner - dress: Formal Night (it is also our Sea Day)
DR1 - “Till We Meet Again” dinner - dress: cruise casual

Notes:
“Show dinner” - The menu is specific to that restaurant
“Formal Night” - Jacket or a dress shirt for men; dress or pantsuit for women
On “Pirate Night” and the “Till We Meet Again” dinners, the menu is the same in all three restaurants.

So… If you were to be assigned to a rotation of: Enchanted Garden, Animator’s Pallet, and then Royal Palace, you would start off and end up in the “Garden”, go to “Animator’s” twice in a row (once for Pirate Night), and be in “Royal Palace” only once (on Formal night). When Disney issues you your KTTW, they will print an abbreviation for your dinning rotation on it (it would say: “EAARE” for our example)

If you chipped in you would be paying a portion of our total lanyard price (which is something like $205) and therefore you would be 'giving' a fellow DISer their lanyard as well as buying your own. Depending on how many people buy their own the amount for chip-in would vary.

I have only 3 families right now that are willing to chip in on the lanyards as their FE gift. I thought I had 4 my error. We need 2 more families at least or more to bring the cost down.

The families who are not on the FE gift giving list that want them will pay for their own. I will PM you with the amounts and payment info soon.

Otherwise I have not heard from enough people to buy them seperately for each individual family. The minimum order is 100. I have heard from about half the families on this board.

My friend & son will be on this sailing with us! As of now they are in Cat 10 GTY, but I am still trying to get them in our stateroom since we are a 4A & our room sleeps 5 (and it is only myself & son on this sailing).

I briefly explained the FE to her tonight & she is interested in doing this. So, as of now, please add her to the FE list as a 10 GTY but like I said, hopefully that will change and we will all be together. Her name is Shelly & her son is Jayden (who will be 11 at the time of the cruise.) I am going to send her a link to this thread. (This is their 1st Disney cruise & she has never been on the Dis boards before-- so be gentle! )
