June 26, 2011 5 Nights on the Disney Dream!!!!

Love that image! I have an idea for you-could you make it so it is a cirle with faded edges so we could fit it in the middle of our badges? :D

Here’s a possible oval design and one that is more circular. Would either of these be closer to what you have in mind?

GoofyIsAsGoofyDoes****** I LOVE THE DESIGN!!! YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!!! I would love to see this on shirts, too!

SO SORRY I HAVEN'T EMAILED THE UPDATED FE LIST!:guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1::sad2:
My baby girl turned 9 a few days after Christmas. Yesterday, I took her and her best friend to the American Girl Store in Boston for a birthday party. It was so much fun! What a great time! I will get that list out ASAP!

I think the idea of the lanyard team is fantastic! Just for giggles, I went to the lanyard website to play around. I know someone had mentioned having 'Double Dipping' on the lanyards and our logo 'It all started with a DREAM. So, check out this link and see what you think!

Is there anyone out there that would like to set up some meeting times and locations?

FYI!!!! It looks like our cruise is SOLD OUT!!!! I tried booking a room with just 1 adult this afternoon and NOTHING CAME UP!!!! Let's do this cruise meet up right and show everyone else on the ship just how great the DISBoards are!!!! :cool1::banana::cool1::thumbsup2:banana::woohoo:

Hi all

I am actually booked on this cruise and supposedly waitlisted for main dining. The thing is both the DH and I agree that the second dining would just not work for us and that we might cancel or move the date if we can't get main dining. We have had great luck in the past with the wait list, but one time I did have to nudge the TA to call and check when I heard from the DIS that there were openings.

Now, I'm wondering has anyone been moved from the wait list to main dining:confused3

I am typically in bed by 10 pm, maybe midnight if there is something fun enough to help me keep my eyes open.

9:00 pm for dinner will just give me heartburn at bedtime:headache:

Anyone have a TA that would be willing to call and bug Disney until I got it? or am I better off taking my reservation back from the TA I currently have and work on Disney myself?

I am not surprised because when I booked my honeymoon I had to settle on the room category I wanted the cheapest category ended up with something in the middle

Hi Laurie

Sorry I can not offer any input on your issue but I just wanted to say I hope we can cruise together again. We didn't see much of each other on the EBPC so maybe this time we can chat some. However, perhaps that was because I was usually just getting going around 10pm:rolleyes1

The new landyard idea with both "It all started with a DREAM!" and double dipping is a great idea. The quote you got you forgot the badge holders they are 20 cents each. I don't like the yellow with red writing but that is just me I don't like yellow. I like red with white writing better. What does everyone else think?

I also like the logo GoofyIsAsGoofyDoes made it looks good.

We have late seating for dinner and I got a letter saying that our dining time is 8:30 and our show time is 7pm.

Does anyone know if the 7pm show time is the same for the people with early seating? I wonder if it will be too crowded? :confused3 I thought maybe that I read somewhere that they are asigning showtimes so that it doesn't over crowd.....is that true?

I thought I read that Dream's theater is not large enough to hold all passengers in two seatings so we will be split into one of three assigned show times. I also read that there will be a stand-by line for people that want to go other than their assigned show time and will be let in if there is seating available.

It will be interesting to read how it all works when the maiden voyage sails in a few weeks

I think we’ll all learn a great deal about procedures, quirks and hidden prizes by reading the TRs and various post from the folks on the first several cruises (and this one reason why I’m not at all troubled by not being on the inaugural voyage).

We received a similar letter back in October. I suspect that there will be a code printed on everyone’s key-card similar to the one that currently lists your dinning rotation (or possibly a specific card color that could be very quickly recognized), which the usurers will check at the doors. We have the same 7:00/8:30 Show/Dinner assignment (which is what we were expecting). I’ll be curious to read about the folks who are assigned to the new and very early 5:00 show time and hear which dinner seating they had and what they thought about the timing.

Hey everyone!! I am officially booked on the dream with ya all! I was convinced to sail on the Dream by my best friend cswan1!! I am cruising with my friend and our two oldest sons who are 4 and 5! We are so excited!:cool1::cheer2:

I for one like something about the Double Dip, but anything is fine with me on text. BUT-- I think red works best because "gold" Castaway Club members get yellow/ gold lanyards and none of the Castaway Club levels receive red!

Hey Mary Ann

So good to see someone I know on this cruise:goodvibes
Yes, so crazy on that EBPC cruise that I didn't get to see and chat with you. Will definitely remedy that this time. Was so disappointed to see all the late night fun I missed when the pics came out after that cruise:guilty:
I'm making more of an effort to get into the activities planned in the evening and staying up to midnight-but it's hard to break habits at this stage:rolleyes:

It is nice to be back on the DIS and planning a cruise
