We had a fantastic 4 night cruise on the wonder starting June 24th.
First of all our vacation started on June 21st. We spent one night at a holiday inn, and then 2 nights at Disney Vero Beach! What a beautiful resort!!!!
If you have never been there, go!! I am very glad we had a few days of vacation before our cruise because it really did put us in vacation mood
By the time we got on the boat, we were relaxed and ready to go!
It was me, DH, DD11, and DD6. Our check in went very quickly, almost too quickly. They announced us as another family, and DD11 noticed. So they let us get back on to announce us as our correct family name and they really hooted and hollared for us, it was great!!! DH forgot his glasses in the car, so he was able to go back and get them. While he did that, the girls and I went to Parrot Cay for lunch, very yummy! I had lots of seafood, actually I had lots of seafood the whole cruise, my favorite food! Even DD11 had to have her shrimp cocktail for just about every meal, LOL!! After lunch we went to check out our rooms. We had rooms number 6645 and 6643. Good thing we got two rooms because they were kind of small, but not too small for just 2 people. I found plenty of storage space for all of our stuff. They were inside staterooms. We then all got dressed for the pool, did the drill, then headed up for the deck party. Too fun!!! I love the new dumbotron, that is too cool!!! Our dinner rotation was TAAP. We had the late night dinner time, which worked out even better. It gave us more time to relax and not rush for dinner. The only night that was rushed was formal night. Our server was Lloyd from Porto Rico and Melissa from Peru was our Assist. Server. They were both very nice. Kind of quiet on the first night, but after that they were fine. The girls loved them.
After dinner, we did some shopping then the girls went to the Club and Lab. They both liked it there.
That was the end of our first day.
High was getting on the boat
Low, well there was no low!
