June 23rd 2012 - Commandeering the Disney Fantasy - Pirates back in the Caribbean

Welcome!!! Glad to have you aboard and just right in. We are a friendly bunch. ;)

Caro-I like the idea of 3:00am carpet angels. That would be about the only time to get the atrium to ourselves.

Hmmmm, what do you think we can do to keep ourselves occupied until 3:00am? What time did y'all close down the bars on the Magic? Can we put in a request to have them stay open later on the Fantasy?

This is going to be so much fun:)[/COLO

The girls are all doing well. Justine is still Justine and is hoping to see all of you guys. Justine thought it would be fun to get a job so she is very busy. Also, i have some great pictures that you could use as "leverage" against Adam if you ever need them. LOL This cruise should be a blast.

Someone say carpet angels?

Thanks I will sure keep that in mind~~IF the need should ever arise! We are really hoping to make it up to NYC this summer if everything falls into place. Well good for Justine, hope she is happy staying busy, busy:)

Are you all doing the Dream with Peter in August and Vero? If so I think you'll really like Vero Beach. It has always been one of our favorite DVC stays~a nice change from the hustle of the parks:)

Hello all! I just skimmed through the past few pages, so hopefully I didn't miss anything to me.

We are spending the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. It isn't Disney, but we are having fun. My two year old daredevil LOVES slides. He is going to be so sad to discover that he is too short to go on the AquaDuck. I don't remember how tall you have to be for the Mickey Slide, but hopefully my shortie will be able to make that one! When we pulled up, Katie said that the building reminded her of the Wilderness Lodge, and it made her miss Disney. She doesn't think that we are going back until 2013, so she will be very surprised this August when we leave Grandma and Grandpa's house in NC, go the wrong way home, and pull up to the actual Wilderness Lodge. :) Of course, she will figure out that we are headed to Disney as soon as she figures out that we went the wrong way. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: She knows us too well. We usually stay at Pop Century though, so the WL will be a surprise!

Anyway, hope everyone is doing alright. We are headed home tomorrow and we will be taking two tired but happy kiddies with us. :)

All this talk about matching makes me happy. :) As you can probably tell from my pictures in my sig, I LOVE to match my kids. Lucky for me, my oldest is a girl because she thinks that matching her Brother is fun. Somehow, I think that it wouldn't quite be the same if my son was the older one. Lucky for me, I don't even think he notices when they match. :lmao:

Anyway, my kids match often, I match them sometimes, and my husband is usually a muggle about it, but he will do it sometimes if it makes my daughter happy. Never underestimate the power of a little girl over her Daddy. :)

What a FUN weekend!! I've been to that GWL WITH Disney! LOL! When we did the ABD Spirit of America that was our final hotel. :)

Ahoy Mateys! Permission for this pirate and her crew to join this thread! It will be myself, Karen, DH Ed and DD Patricia (13 at cruise time) sailing this voyage. :)
This makes me very happy!!!:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
Hi Jack,

not sure what day it was, but we had closed the bars a while earlier (you know its bad when they ask you to leave so they can clean)....

Not as bad as when they "thank you" when you leave because you were to noisy. :rotfl2:

haha
On the matching shirts thing- I never ask Jeff if he wants to wear them. He'd always say no! I simply get them, pack them, and then I'm like here- wear this today we're all matching. LOL Eye rolling ensues, but he goes along. LOL
Yeah, my DH is always saying something about easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

For those who have bought the Mickey Mouse Club t-shirts, what size and style font did you get your names in? I was going to order and then it asked me all those important questions! I decided I needed guidance!
Oh, should have asked that same question before we ordered. We went with Missy font and 19 inches letters:confused3

I bet Jon's are older! :rotfl2::rotfl2: Jon has all of his old Concert T-shirts.... I think BOC wins for the *most*. We don't go to too many concerts anymore...the last one was probably 5 yrs (or more!) and it was either The Eagles (front row seats!) or Neville Brothers.
Jon may have seen BOC since then -- when he is travelling he sometimes sees them in other states. lol.

I've still got my Billy Joel t-shirts from the 80s

:welcome: Nice to see you here, Karen! :welcome:

Me, TOO!! I was sorry that it took me until the last few days to find out where everyone was in the evenings! lol.
I had gone out a few times by myself to the *bars* but, I thought it was just wierd for me to be walking around in bars looking for people. :rotfl2:

LOL, us too

:rotfl::rotfl:

hhhhmmm....I have a notebook that I wrote in daily so, it *is* possible to finish....My daughter's stupid wedding interupted my trip reporting! lol.
Life has a way of getting in the way

:thumbsup2

Good to have you back:thumbsup2
I'm not sure my teens would notice if we were driving in the wrong direction:rolleyes1

My DS never cared what I dressed him in. Even now he pretty much wears anything I buy...even likes wearing a tux for school concerts and formal night:confused3

Yes, my DD can also get Daddy to do most things:laughing:
Really wish I took pics of that pretty princess game he played with her:rolleyes1
