Hello everyone. We're also booked on this cruise. We have 3 families in 3 cabins. My group is me , DW , DS15 and DD12 . We also have DSIL, DBIL, DNephew7, DNeice3 in one cabin and DMIL and DFIL in another. My group is interested in the FE, but the other two groups are new to DCL and haven't done it before. I still need to read through the thread, which might take the better part of a week, so who is organizing the FE? Do we have any other meets arranged? Aquaduck meets?

I was in the color guard, which was VERY competitive. They brought like 40 girls to camp with the intention of only having 30 on the field. Sure enough, about 8-9 girls dropped out before school even started. The biggest problem seemed to be that a lot of the girls had the attitude that THEY knew best because THEY were the captain of their team back in HS. The problem, of course, was that we were ALL captains during HS.

My daughter will have to talk to you on the boat. She is in her second year of color guard.

I don't think there is an official FE list yet But if it will be like our 2008 cruise it will be big
Just talking about Dis meets at the moment, not sure if anyone has one set or not yet.

Same here. Except for us it would cost us MORE to stick all 5 of us in one room... actually wait- it was a little more for us to stick 4 of us all in one room.... when at first our "will be 18 then" dd said she didn't want to go. so I went ahead with verandah and inside room for the 4 of us and then when she found out this was a "pirates reunion cruise"- she decided she wanted to go so we added her to the inside room. LOL


Oh and Jeff is NOT one for the spa either.... but I talked him into rasul and he has requested rasul again on every cruise.

Oh yeah, thinking back on all the comments about stinky teens and now I know what they were all talking about

Our first time splitting into 2 cabins. Will be nice to have so much room. We might drive to the port and then no luggage issues at all. Just really hate the drive back

Oh fun! I LOVED Color Guard. I actually started playing an instrument in the 10th grade so that I could take band as a class and work on Flag stuff during class in the Fall. Well, that and flirt with the drum line. Hence why I wasn't the greatest tuba player.
