Welcome Amanda:goodvibes How fun a honeymoon cruise:lovestruc

I'm all caught up! LOL!

Been kept busy with my brother -- I think I've mentioned him here...... I don't mention what is going on with him much on FB since I don't want him to ever see something and think that I think he is a burden. Taking care of him is not a burden to me.

We moved him in with us last week -- much easier on me then running to his apt everyday (sometimes twice a day) to make/bring him food and run his errands. lol.
Since moving in with us he has been doing really well - next week will be the test since that will be the week that he usually ends up in the hospital (the week after chemo).
He was in the hospital nearly 2 wks with 2 different bacterial infections the first half of July. So, his chemo schedule was thrown off.
He is hoping to be finished with chemo the first part of Sept. The worst part (for me) is that his chemo schedule is 3 days in a row of chemo. So, my 13ds & 10dd are left home alone for most the day.

Our other brother (the one that *temporarily* moved in with us 2 1/2 yrs ago) leaves for Austraila Aug 15th. And then Jon & Elvis (and Michael) leave on Sept 5th for Austraila.
After the store set up Jon and our boys are hoping to have a week to do some exploring. :thumbsup2

Claire wants to redo her bedroom so, I told her that when the boys are in Austraila we will redo her room. :goodvibes

And we are all getting excited about our Oct cruise on the Magic! This will be the first big trip that our son's SO's son (17) has ever been on. It's just a shame that they won't have time to stay for a bit in WDW with us after teh cruise. Michael & Cynthia tried to get him to meet us in WDW last Oct and he chose to stay at his grandparents instead....you know *too* old for WDW and all.....:rolleyes1 Luckily he seems excited about the cruise. :thumbsup2

I think the part that Jon is looking forward to the most is the 2 cabanas I have rented on CC. lol :rotfl2: The man is easy to please!

I hope everyone is having a FANTASTIC summer! It is going by way too fast for me!

Steph, I am sure that does help a lot having your brother at your house. Your family stays in my prayers.

Steph....what a good and loving example you are for your children! Praying that your brother is well again soon!

So, what is in store for Claire's room? Disney themed, perhaps?

Good morning fellow cruisers. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

tharg-7-50-trans.gif

weeks to go to the Fantasy. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Does anyone have rooms 2030 and 2032?
I am booked for 7504 and 7506 and would love to switch. I paid more, but am willing to take a loss.
I need connecting cabins and have stayed in these cabins so many times before we like them.
Just thought I would upgrade this time around, and now I am regretting.
Thanks!

Just popping in to say a quick hello. Back from an extended visit with family in Nebraska, and hopefully will be able to stay fairly caught up now.

Hope everyone is having a great summer!:cutie:

The law of supply and demand at work. We booked a 1BR Concierge Suite shortly after booking opened; paid $11.7k. Just looked at the prices for our cruise. Standard Oceanview w/ Veranda now going for same price. Oceanview w/ Concierge going for almost $16k. Pays to book early.

Can't wait for the cruise. We'll be celebrating the high school graduation of our twin daughters. This crew of Pirates sounds like a lot of fun.

We're supposed to be celebrating our son's high school graduation and birthday, too.....I'm hoping he doesn't decide he's too old for Disney and ditch us!! Maybe if he knows there will be GIRLS his age....:rolleyes1

Thank you!

We are looking at some of the Disney furniture at Rooms To Go.... :thumbsup2
She REALLY likes the Cinderella coach bed! :rotfl: But, we reminded her that she was going to have to sleep in the bed until she grew up and moved out.... :)
She wants to get rid of her bright PINK room (she thinks it's a bit *babyish*)and go with a blue/tourquise color. I'm not looking forward to painting the ceilling. lol. And I may just leave the inside of the closet PINK! :lmao:

Just wondering if anyone has an idea how airline tickets are looking. its been a few years sense we have flown. are the current prices high or reasonable..
