Hi everyone!
My family and I, DH, DS15, DS10, will be on this cruise. This is our 2nd Disney cruise and we are super excited to be sailing out of NYC! We live in PA and it is a quick drive to the city! Excited to chat with some fellow cruisers. We are also considering the FE, but are a little unsure how to get started.

Hi everyone!!!

We are looking forward to our first Disney Cruise. We are also booked on the 6/22 cruise. It will be me, DW and DD (10). We have been on other cruise lines but we are really looking forward to our first cruise with Disney. We are Disney fanatics and are also DVC members.

Does anyone know if the buses run all day to and from the port to WDW when we are Fl? We have another excusion planned and will probably be back to the ship by mid afternoon and would'nt mind heading over to Epcot or MK. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the group! I'm not sure about the buses but as someone else answered, just go check the excursions and see what times they have buses running. I didn't look past the first one as I knew I wanted to head there as soon as possible.

I am participating to FE, but it's all new for me. Should I have access to FE participant, or will that come later ? I think I saw this list when I filled in my information, but I dont know how to see it again.

Hello all. We will be on this cruise also. It is going to be me, DF, DS10, DD8 and fiancées DS6, plus my mom and my adult niece. Getting so excited!!

I was wondering what you all were thinking of doing on the Port Canaveral day. I'm thinking of just sticking to MK since my niece and fiancées DS have never been there. But I also think it would be fun to hop to one other park, maybe EPCOT since its on the monorail. Im wondering if this seems too ambitious though and may detract from their experience at MK. Just wondering what most people are planning to do.

Also, anyone know or have a guess as to when the return busses will be running. We didn't have to pick a return time so I'm thinking they may be continuous or hourly or something? Any guesses?

Welcome! I don't know if they'll be hourly, but I'll bet they run regularly.

I will be toooooo excited to sleep, just like the little boy in my favorite Disney World commercial.

We can't wait to be on the ship for eight glorious days. I can't wait to get to Castaway Cay. If I could move there, or spend a week there, I would in a heartbeat. Maybe someday Disney will put a hotel there or have multi-day cruises to my favorite place:. A girl can dream, can't she?

Know the feeling...the castaway cay day will certainly be the highlight of my cruise along with the day at WDW. Seemed so far away a while ago... now its next month !

We're really looking forward to the trip - its our first Disney Cruise! We're from Central NJ and we'll be traveling with our 4-year old daughter and 10-month son.

Does anyone know of a means to get to the cruise port from NJ? Do people drive and park? Or are there shuttles out there with car seats?

We are staying at my brother's house in NJ (he is in Bloomfield, about 15 mins from the city) and we are using a car service to drop us off and pick us up at the port terminal when we get back. It is FCLS Limo 718-777-7111. They are located in NYC. They have vans and sedans to pick you up depending on the size of your party. Pricing includes gratuities, tax, and tolls. They seem very nice to deal with.

Corrected! I am ready to hear May cruise reports too. When is the first one? I want to read all of them so we can read about the port and all of that as well.
