June 2023 availability?

A friend is letting us use her dvc points for a June (last week) 2023 trip. Will there still be good availability by the time she is able to book it? Should we reserve a room now, on our own, just in case? We are not picky about room size or view. We are going with other family members so exact dates are important.

Late June can be a very difficult season at Aulani. In a studio, your best chance at a full week will be in an Ocean View. Cheaper views book more quickly and will be missing multiple days in a week in late June before 7 months.

A 1BR will have more availability, at a much higher cost. So there it depends on how many points you're working with.

If you need exact dates then you should book now or before the 7 month window opens up, especially if you want to book the studio rooms.
Currently there are plenty of availability for studios with different views, as well as other bedroom configurations but you are only able to book now if Aulani is your home resort.

You may rent points from the Disboards Rent Boards from an Aulani owner or rent from a third party DVC points broker.

Our family usually visits Aulani in June-there are more people at the resort in the later part of the month due to majority of the kids being out of school.
We ended up buying an Aulani contract because it was getting harder to book our desired dates at the 7 month mark with our VGC contract.
