We are looking to go back to the world this summer. Were just there for a quick trip a few weekends ago, and going during the school year just didn't work for us. So, even with the heat, has to be the summer time. So, would it be best to go in June (second or third week) right when the kids get out of school or mid August. We will be staying offsite, so I wonder what will put us in a better chance of getting fast passes that we want.

Thanks in advance.

We were there this past June for 10 days from the 14th to the 24th and we didn't find it overcrowded and the weather was BEAUTIFUL (low to mid 80's with a nice breeze and moderate humidity). While I know that's not a guarantee for next year it always seems like the trip reports in August are full of brutal heat and humidity. On the plus side, mid to late August the crowds should dip back down a bit as schools, especially in Florida, prepare to start up again.

For me, I'd be looking at mid-June based on our great experience this year.

We have been the end of June this year and the middle of August last year. To me the weather seemed to be just as hot both months but June a little less humid. There was more rain and storms in August. Crowds were a little higher in August than June.

Having a 10 and 13 year old, we have no choice but to go in the summer months. Our last two trips have been the third week in August. The crowds and the hours have been great both times. It's usually a little cheaper, too. :) It is hot and humid. But, we're from Pennsylvania and it's pretty hot and humid here in August, too. Disney does an amazing job of keeping you cool.

We go the beginning of June because as a teacher in GA, we are out before Memorial Day and back by the beginning of August. I think that I have heard August can be hotter but a little less crowded than end of June, but I can't speak from experience.

We have annual passes and they might as well be 10 month passes because we'd never go in July or August. August is by far the worst month of the year here. I've lived in central FL nearly my entire life and I try to do as little as possible outside in August. Needless to say I vote June.
