My husband and I have been Disney World multiple times, but this June will be our first trip to Disneyland. We will be there the 12th through 15th and a trying to figure everything out.

We typically always get the dining plan at disney world, but it seems so much different at Disneyland. Is the dining worth it? If so, where should we eat? We do not have a very sophisticated palate! We typically like breakfast buffets at WDW.

Also, what are the must do's for our first Disneyland visit. I am not sure when or if we will make it back again! We appreciate any help!

First thing to read is Hydroguy's DLR for WDW Vets.

There are lots of tasty options at DLR that don't exist at WDW, favorites vary from person to person, personally my family adores Cafe Orleans and the Monte Cristos there. There are some good breakfast buffets, though I like Goofy's Kitchen character dinner since morning is valuable park time to me. YMMV. Dining plan is not worth it for most people at DLR since you're just buying coupons of which you need to use the entire value or lose any leftover, if you really want to pre-pay just buy gift cards.
