June 2012 code watch?

The travel agent my friend uses also got her an awesome deal at All Star Music with a suite room for $500 for a week. When her mom called to change their dates the agent told them that free dining was coming out march 1st and would run for June-Sept. So they booked POR French Quarter for a week in Sept.

We are staying at POR French Quarter as well but we're going June 2-9. If the free dining doesn't come out we still got a good deal for our family with the current discount.

So, can I hold two reservations??? If free dining does come out, I want to do a mod, if it doesnt I will stay at the POP. Our trip is the first week of June so, if it is announced on March 1, we're still 90 days out if I need to cancel one.

Ok I know nothing about codes but I signed up for the email stuff hoping to get one. I have never stayed at a Disney Resort before but would like to for my honeymoon. We are going June 18-25, would really be cool if the free dining code was open to public but was hoping to book sooner than later and if it doesn't come out to March is there a way to get that. Also what is the best route to go for booking Disney Resort + Ticket w/possible dining option, I am a AAA member so was going to check them and I have made some quotes to the travel agents I saw on this site. I live in VA if that helps. Haven't been to Disney in 12 years and never stayed on site before, looking to spend no more than $2500 for hotel 5 Day Hopper Pass and meal plans for both of us. Is this realistic? Any help would be great.

last night i got our trip bought using this method.. first go to special offers tab on far right. it brings up "spring offer" magic your way thru march i think... click there pick your dates..mine not being till june but discount still worked. i got allstar music for may 28th,29th,30th.31st for 85.60 a night fri june 1st and sat june 2nd for 123.20 a night....then june 3rd,4th,and 5th for 103.20 a night then i went and added 10 days of park tickets and quick serve dining...total cost was 2039.94 for 10 days of disney.....if you go directly to package you'd be paying a lot more for the rooms try my method... thanks

I have more money savings methods too.

I opened a disney visa card back in october. at time with any purchase you get a $200 disney gift card...so i bought something at store for $5 bucks.then paid it off...and now have a gift card for shops at disney for 200 bucks.

also my airline is southwest airlines... total airfare for my daughter and I is $850 bucks but i had 55,000 miles so all i had to pay was $10 security fee

and for 10 day car rental from orlando airport thru budget... well free thru credit card miles..... how that for savings.....

Disney's All-Star Music Resort
2520.95 if you go thru package
2039.94 my way of spring room offer first then add... saves you what? almost 500 bucks.

Disneydeal you sound like me. i would faint if I ever had to pay for airfare thanks to $1000 sign up bonus in SW from opening 2 visa cards and charging thru 3 months. Earned the 1k gift cards, cancelled one card.

Here is something else I did. I opened Chase Freedom Rewards (2) of them. Each had a 300 sign up bonus. Then when my local grocer ran 20% fuel perks I bought a 500 disney gift card (so I also got 60.00 in free gas for this purchase alone!). then when the bill comes, Chase lets you call and move your incenitve points right onto your statement for immediate credit. So a 500 disney gift card cost me 200 and I got 60 in free gas. I do have a Disney Rewards card but Freedom points is sooo much better. In Jan thru March if you use your card 15 times you get $50.00 bonus.

So Chase freedom for the 300 incentive if still going on is a great money saver and sign DH up to make it 600

That's an awesome tip with the room but unfortunately that only runs to the 14th and I am staying 18-25, is there any chance of getting any type of deals for this time or am I just screwed since it is peak time? When would any possible deals/codes or whatever be posted by Disney for my days if anyone knows that would be appreciated so I know how much longer to wait before booking it. Thanks

Here is a link to the Mousesavers site where they list the discounts and release dates of the discounts from previous years. I've found it's very helpful to use as a reference, but things can change DRASTICALLY from year to year. In 2009 my family was able to stay at a club level/deluxe Boardwalk room that was AMAZING because they were offering Buy 4 nights, Get 3 Free. Now it seems like all they'll do in the summer is offer free dining which is SO not a good deal for us. Half of my family members are teachers (including me,) so it stinks since the summer is really the only time we can go. Here's hoping this year is better than the past 2 :thumbsup2

ETA: You can always book now and then call and apply any released code to your reservation after they're released. You don't have to wait for the code to be released to book! :) Oh, and we had a Disney wedding AND honeymoon and it was awesome, so have FUN!!

Thanks, we'd take the free dining lol since it's only the 2 of us I'm hoping that would save us and we are only looking for Value resort AS Sports or Pop Century, we are limited to summer because of school schedules, I work as athletic trainer at a high school and he works at a university in housing and residence life so our vacation/honeymoon options are limited to summer. Will check it out and good to know I can book now and apply discounts later, I am also waiting for quote from AAA as well.

Interesting, I tried it and it does charge you more to book the package vs hotel only then adding the other stuff. It was a $200 difference for my June trip. However I booked over the phone and they gave me the cheaper price so all is good :dance3:

I just wanted to share that I received a snail mail PIN code last week. It was a board game themed mailing and it said "Game ON, _______ Family!" It's a very specific code as mentioned on the flier. It says it's only for June 1- June 30 and it's for 30% off any value or moderate resort and 30% off AKL or WL. You can only stay Sunday-Thursday nights.

However..........

I went through the reservations link listed on the flier and tried a few things, and it let me include other deluxe resorts and still get the discount. It also allowed me to include Friday and Saturday nights :thumbsup2

I just wanted to share so people would know there are PINS out there for June right now. I'm totally guessing here, but a week or two before I got it I went into my Disney.com account and went through and adjusted my vacation preferences. I specifically remember picking our preferred travel month was June, and then I got this PIN code for June. I'm not sure if there's any connection there, but it was quite a coincidence. ;)

I got the same one via snail mail on Monday. It's 30% off through June. I was so hoping for FD, but I can't complain. Also, I called last Friday and the CM told me there was no pin attached to my household. I would've guessed it was already in the system by then, but maybe not. So there are still pins being sent for June! Good luck everyone. :wizard:

Just got a PIN for free dinning for june! Free quick service for most resorts and free regular dinning for delux.. you can upgrade to regular free dinning though for a few dollars a day. I am set for June 2 - 10th.

Did you get the pin via snail mail or email?

My husband called today and we had two pins attached to our name: one for free dining, and one for a room discount, both through the end of June. We've received nothing by mail or email.

She wouldn't tell him how much the room discount was, but gave a quote so I can figure it out.

We can't use any of them at AoA.

This is what i need - lol. I'm still hopeful though.

Well I just called for the first time ever to see if I or my husband had a pin code. There was one (which I knew about) for an upgrade to park hopper and to add on the waterparks. I wasn't planning on doing either so I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a room discount or free dining code.

Is there any chance of having a pin attached to your name if you've never stayed at a Disney resort before?
