:)

Pizza Planet
This place was extremely busy when we got there! We should have turned around and left but we figured everywhere was busy and we were hungry. Every table was filled! I sent DH and the kids to find us a table (which they ended up standing nearby for a few minutes to wait on people to leave and then jumped to it!)... and I stood in line for an HOUR to get our food! Seriously... if I had known it would have taken that long, no way would we have stayed there. We ended up spending almost 2 hours there in all!!! We didn't even play in the arcade, just ate and left! The food was good though, the kids liked it. Me and the kids all had cheese pizza's and DH had the meatball sub (pretty yummy!). They come with the little salads and those were OK, nothing special. We would go there again, as long as it wasn't so busy!!!

Rating: 2/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2: Would give 3 if we weren't so stressed out by the crowds and time spent in there.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

World Premiere Food Court
We ate at our resort food court for a quick dinner. (ASMov)
DSC03848.jpg

I had grilled chicken (it was OK, very plain, I had to add some toppings.), Kids had chicken nuggets (they loved) and DH had sushi (he said it was OK, not great). ;) Overall it was good.

Rating: 2/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Nothing impressive, but not bad.

Yikes, an hour in line, you shoulda fainted so they would send a CM to "help" you. ;)

Chef Mickey's
We had an ADR at for 7:35 a.m.

We made it into the CR and walked up to Chef Mickey's with just a minute or two to spare! (I mean it was literally like 7:33 LOL). We didn't have to wait too long for our table, maybe 10 minutes.
DSC03904.jpg

The food was pretty good, the buffet had a nice variety. This was my plate:
DSC03910.jpg

My only real complaint is that the characters really rushed by, I felt like I was throwing our autograph books at them and scrambling to get my camera ready before they walked off. Donald never came to our table. We had 2 other character meals on our trip and neither of those were as rushed as this one. But I was still happy with the experience. It's nice to see characters somewhere outside of the parks and the long lines!

Rating: 2.5/5 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :) Not a 2 but not sure if it's a 3. Food was pretty good, but just your usual buffet breakfast and we loved the Characters, just felt too rushed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BONUS REVIEW! ALOHA ISLE!
I had to try the oh so famous Dole Whip... and yes I loved it. So did DD7, the boys (DH & DS4) however were not that impressed LOL. Guess it's a girl thing?
DSC03982.jpg

Rating: 4/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 YUM!

Crystal Palace
Our ADR was at 1:05pm. We arrived at 1:00pm and waited outside with a pager for about 20 minutes.
DSC03981.jpg

The hostess noted that it was our anniversary (the next day was actually) and said they would do a little something special. They never did, but we weren't bothered by it. Our waitress was running around like crazy and super busy so she probably didn't even have time to read any special notes!
When we got seated, we seen that Eeyore was close by so we stayed seated to wait for him before we got up to fix our plates. I :lovestruc Eeyore!

The lunch food was just OK to me, I just sampled a little of everything and so did everyone else.
DSC04010.jpg

Soon after we got our food, Tigger and Piglet came by our table! :)

Desserts...Now these were good! It was the one part of the meal that I was impressed with, Yummy!
DSC04014.jpg

We had to wait a little while for Pooh to make his way to our table but luckily he did make it before we were finished! We loved the Characters here, they didn't rush by too fast. And like I said the food was just OK to us, but it wasn't bad. The desserts were my favorite.

Rating: 3/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Good Character interaction and yummy desserts, even if we weren't impressed with the main food. And it has a great location.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
abc Commissary
We went here about 6pm and it wasn't crowded at all, we got through the line and got our food in about 10 minutes.
DSC04088.jpg

DSC04089.jpg

The kids had nuggets and fries, as usual, lol... They loved it.
DSC04091.jpg

I had the fish with apples... It was like your typical fast food fish. Not really bad, but could be better. I'd probably order something different next time.
DSC04092.jpg

And I think DH had a grilled chicken sandwich? (Sorry, forgot to get a picture of that one!) He wasn't too impressed but said it was OK.

Rating: 2/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 The food was alright. Nothing great, but not bad at all. And the atmosphere was nice.

Happy to hear about (and see) your dining experience on your first trip to WDW. My sons love pizza planet, but we usually also have to scope out a table anywhere we can because it is always crowded. Glad you enjoyed your trip!!!:rotfl:

Love your reviews so far! We usually try to pop in to Pizza Planet each trip just to poke around but have never actually gotten anything to eat there. No way I could handle a wait like that!

Hi! I'm joining in on here as well!

I had already read about your Pizza Planet experience from your TR but am glad to read from others that it is not normally like this.

That's a shame about the characters being rushed at CMs but am glad you enjoyed the experience.

Yay you girls enjoyed a Dole Whip! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to get my hands on one.

Love your reviews so far! Sorry to hear about the wait at Pizza Planet, wow! Maybe they should start posting wait times at restaurants and not just on the rides. :lmao: Actually we had the same experience at Chef Mickey's. Our characters seemed so rushed that we could barely get a photo at all. Oh well, we were all adults when we ate there so we could deal with it and justiied it by saying that the little kids could use the extra time! Can't wait to read more!

Sunshine Seasons!
We had lunch here, right around 11am. It was not crowded at all, we got through the lines in just a few minutes and easily found a table.
DSC04152.jpg

Yum! I was pretty pleased with this place, we loved the variety! I got the Roasted Chicken, veggies and rice. It was good! I would definitely get this again!
DSC04153.jpg

DH got some of the Asian food, can't remember what it was called but it was pretty Yummy!!!
DSC04154.jpg

The kids got roasted chicken legs with sides of their choice.
DSC04155.jpg

And for dessert, we had to have one of these little cakes! I maybe got 2 bites out of it, but it was good! The kids ate most of it.
DSC04157.jpg

Rating: 4/5! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 The food was very good, they had a great variety and the location is nice too!

----------------------------------------------------

Planet Hollywood!
Our ADR here was for 5:15pm.
DSC04252.jpg

DSC04254.jpg

We checked in and then had our picture taken.
We only had to wait about 5 minutes and we were taken to our table, not bad at all!
I had the L.A. lasagna... it was SO good!!! YUM!! I tried to eat it all but just couldn't. I was very pleased!!!
DSC04259-1.jpg

DH had the philly and he really enjoyed it too.
DSC04260.jpg

The kids had a cheese pizza and they shared it, it was big enough for both of them! I'm glad the waitress told us to only order 1!! (I forgot to get a picture of that though, sorry!!!) They loved it and ate it all!

We used our PH coupon from our Disney package which made our meal total $38! Woohoo! We went over to the gift shop and got a couple of t-shirts and our free souvineer (keychain).

Rating: 3.5/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 :) More than a 3, maybe not a 4... We LOVED the food and had a good time there. Only complaints would be some of the staff. The worker that we checked in with was a bit snarky and the attendant in the bathroom was not doing her job. But our waitress was very good. It can also be very loud in there. I've read a lot of bad reviews on PH but we did like it and would go there again... I'm still drooling over that L.A. lasagna! ;)

Mmm have recently read another review of Sunshine Seasons and can't wait to eat here.

That's a shame about the staff at PH but am glad your waitress was on the ball!

Great reviews! We also loved sunshine seasons! The turkey sandwich is really good. I love that you can choose a specialty dessert from the bakery! We ate here twice and I had creme brûlée both times. SO YUMMY!!!

I guess most of this is (or will be) on your trip report, but I thought I'd check out your dining report, too!

Because, really, who doesn't love to talk about food? ;)

I think I had the same plate as you at Sunshine Seasons, LOL! We all loved the food there... definitely would eat there again. :thumbsup2

Great report so far!
We had our first Chef Mickey's experience last September for our arrival dinner. I do agree that the characters can be a little rushed there. But we did get to visit with all of them and we really did enjoy our meal there. I followed the advice of others and booked the first dinner seating.
Yay for yummy Dole Whips! Can't wait for my next one :)
I haven't tried the Commissary since they updated the menu. One day I will... I'm just usually so full from my Sci-Fi burger and shake!
Love, love, LOVE Sunshine Seasons. Something for everyone in that place.

Can't wait to read more!

World Premiere Food Court
We had a quick breakfast at our resort food court this morning so not much to report on here.
The kids had cinnamon rolls and I wasn't very hungry so I just had a side of bacon. I think DH had some sort of egg sandwich? I didn't get a photo of his, Sorry!
DSC04343.jpg

All I'm going to rate is the cinnamon rolls (I did taste them) and they were pretty good so I'll give them a 3/5: :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

---------------------------------------------------

Rainforest Cafe in AK
We had a 12:30 ADR for RFC in Animal Kingdom.
We walked up to RC about 12:15p!
DSC04541.jpg

DSC04542.jpg

DSC04544.jpg

We only waited about 5 minutes and were seated!
I had printed off the reward calendar's from RC website, so the kids got their meals for only .99 cents......score!
DSC04546.jpg

DSC04547.jpg

We were seated right by this waterfall though and it was COLD!!! I was freezing through most of the meal and was seriously tempted to go by a shirt or something in the gift shop for warmth, but I refrained and made it out ok!
DSC04548.jpg

DSC04552.jpg

I had the Tuscan chicken plate... YUMMO!!! It was really good!! I would totally order this again!!!
DSC04555.jpg

DH had the Caribbean Coconut Shrimp and he LOVED it!! His favorite part was the mango sauce, he made several comments about it while eating.
DSC04556.jpg

DD had the kids cheeseburgers with a banana
DSC04557.jpg

and DS had the kids dinosaur chicken nuggets with a banana
DSC04558.jpg

Rating: 4/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 We really enjoyed our meal. We had a short wait and our food was pretty yummy!!! Only downside to this place was the cold and the noise level.

----------------------------------------------------

Pinocchio's Village Haus
We arrived here just after 6pm. The CM taking our order was not too friendly, but I just ignored his lack of magic so he wouldn't ruin my meal.
DSC04630.jpg

I had the meatball sub which was good, DH had the chicken parm... I don't have a pic of the kids because my camera battery was nearly dead, but DD had a pizza and DS had the adult chicken nuggets. (I don't think they had kids chicken there and that's what he wanted...) They both liked the food they got, and I guess we all liked the chicken nuggets since we helped DS finish them lol.
DSC04628.jpg

DSC04629.jpg

Rating: 3/5. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Food was pretty good...Better than some of the other CS I think. It made up for the moody worker and we enjoyed the decor and theme of this place!

Sunshine Seasons is a great place to eat! The food tastes so fresh and my turkey sandwich/homemade potato salad was to die for! The strawberry shortcake dessert wasn't so great, I was very disappointed. It really had not flavor whatsoever. Love you reviews, can't wait to read more! :)

Nice Reiviews....we love the Pinnochio House too. We like watching the people on Its a Small World :) Most of the kids look annoyed that their parents are making them go on :rotfl:

Ohana
Our ADR was for 8:40am.
We jumped into the very long check in line at 8:37am! (Yeah running late!) And waited... about 10 minutes later we got checked in and were given a pager. We decided to skip the photo taking here since I knew I'd be suckered into buying it if we did! ;)
We found some seats in the waiting area and the kids watched cartoons.
We were finally paged about 20 minutes later. I'm glad we weren't in a hurry to get to a park! But I guess it was partially our fault for not getting there soon enough to check in on time lol.
They brought our yummy pineapple bread and juice first thing, followed by the fruit tray.
June12th12.jpg

Stitch was the first character to come by! We loved him! The breakfast came out about 5 minutes after Stitch was gone. It was SO yummy!! This was our favorite breakfast and character meal!!! :thumbsup2
June12th18.jpg

June12th19.jpg

Pluto was by our table next, Followed by Lilo and Mickey! We enjoyed the character interaction here, they didn't seem to rush off as fast as the other places. Stitch was so much fun and the Mickey here was pretty good too!!
And of course it is inside a beautiful resort so that makes it even better. :cutie:

Rating: 4.5/5 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 :) LOVED the breakfast here, our waiter was really good and the characters were great! It was our favorite character meal and our favorite breakfast. A great way to end our vacation!!
