I can't speak about the crowds or the weather , but Disney will undoubtedly have some specials for travel during 2009 - PIN codes have already been released to many people already - see other threads on the Cdn Planning Board. As far as reservations go, I'd personally wait until the Spring for 2 reasons - 1. I hope the Cdn dollar improves and 2. Disney will probably release some special offers - although i don't know about your specific dates
