June 2009 and All Star Movies

Hey everyone!
Please respond if you are going to be vacationing at WDW at ASM's in June! Most people are staying other places. My family and I will be there June 19-26. We went last year around the same time and stayed at ASM's(we've stayed there a total of 3 times and love the themes!!! ) I decorated our resort room window and had many people leave messages on our mickey white board, but didn't see any other decorated windows:
Hope to decorate again this year and to see others do the same! We would love to meet some fellows disers while we are there! Let's start communicating!

stayed at FQ in 10/2006 and Pop in 9/2005, this is our first trip back since 2006...we never went in June, whats it like then? We decorated our windows at POP...what can you tell me about ASM?

Sorry I never got back with you!!!! I've had a lot going on at school and home!!!!
We love staying at ASMO's because we have young children who are fascinated by the tall statues of Disney characters. The themed pools are great and the food in the food court is really quite good. We had the dining plan last summer because it was our DD4's( then 3) first time to WDW and it's a great way to meet characters. We actually tried to get reservations at POPS this time, but all the preferred rooms were already booked! We have stayed in the Toy Story section twice and have requested 101 Dalmations for this trip. Depending on where you live June can be extremely hot! Animal Kingdom was really hot last summer and I got quite a "farmer's shirt and shorts" tan on this trip! I hope you and your family have a great trip! I just started another thread under resorts/countdowns that I'm hoping to keep going until the end of June! Hope you can post there as well!

We will be staying at ASMo June 24-July 1. We have never been to Disney in June and are quite apprehensive. How are the crowds this time of year? They manageable? Florida heat we experienced the first week of September last year. It's the crowds I am not use to.

I have tried to avoid summer crowds but with starting nursing school the only chance I get now is summer. And gosh darn it, I have to get in my yearly Disney fix!

We are staying with 30 teenagers June 15 -20. I love the room decorating idea. We might do that as a contest for the kids.

Sounds like a job!!!! I'll take my 4 year olds any day! If you want to decorate the windows you need to read the thread "Decorating Your Resort Room Window". It's 126 pgs. and counting! Go ahead and raid your local Home Depot of Lime Green Mickey Paint Chips too!
