June 2009 AKV...who's with us?

We will be there May 31 - June 6 AKV Jambo std studio. First time at AKV and we are so excited. Plan on going to the Pirate and Princess party June 3. We were there the same week last year and the weather was great and crowds were light.

We aren't going in June but were there last week of May this year.

Tip: June is the rainy season. Wear shoes that you won't slip in if you get wet and clothes that dry quickly as there are sudden downpours. The good news is that the showers usually pass and it's warm enough so that they actually can feel good. Our biggest problem was the shoe issue.

Well, I won't make the June crowd, but will be there from May 3 through May 15th - so it's close! Maybe I can give you a nice trip report in May to get you excited for June! (Not that you need any help getting excited!)

This will be our first June trip. Worried about the heat and the crowds, but staying at AKV will make it better. The kids love just watching the animals from the balcony, so the parks will be secondary this trip.

We are staying Jun 14-19 in a one bedroom SV.

Just booked a savannah view studio in Kidani for 6/14 to 20!

I will see you guys I will be in a studio savannah view in Kidani the 14-19, unless my waitlist for the concierge studio comes through.

We are planning on doing Busch Gardens and SeaWorld and the pool on this trip.

We are actually doing Universal starting June 14, then Arriving Kidani SV (2bdrm & Studio) June 17th and changing to Jambo concierge June 20-26.

We will be there June 4-13. I got lucky and snagged a Grand Villa at 7mos. I actually had my choice between Jambo or Kidani. I chose Jambo for the one level plan plus the pool table. This trip will will be celebrating my daughter's HS graduation and both teens will be bringing friends.
I can't wait! AKL is one of my very favorite places at WDW. We have stayed there several times using points/cash before it became DVC.

I'll be there for my "Big Birthday Bash the 2nd week of June!! " (Look for me poolside in my leopard skin bikini) I've been working for this for over a year now -- lost 25 lbs and 15 more to go !! (else, look for the leopard one-piece. hehe)

I was there 2 years ago in June. The first day was overcast and drizzled - which kept the heat and the crowds down. After that it was typical Florida in the summer -- hot hot hot ! I carry a cheap paper fan - its indispensable.
