:goodvibes Hey everyone, my name's Jasmine and I haven't been on the boards in a while, because I used to go on the teen boards, but I just saw this group for college students and thought that I'd try it out. I'm 19 and I was wondering if anyone was going on the June 1st Disney Wonder this summer? :confused3. This will be my first time going on the cruise without being at the teen club, The Stack. I know that there is a college group, but I heard that many people don't go to it, so I was hoping that I could find out if anyone will be going at the same time as me and my family?
Hope there's someone out there!:goodvibes

the whole 18-21 crowd is not well served on the Disney cruise and I think it's an area for improvement. Suddenly you become 18 and you're too old for guitar hero, but too young to be hanging out with the 40+ crowd in the club. Good luck! Find someone to buy you alcohol and you'll have a smashing good time :rotfl:

I'm missing you by 20 days... I'm going on the June 22nd Wonder. :)

Last summer, I was 19 and it was my first cruise not being able to do The Stack stuff. It was wayy different then before... I was with my family alot more. Luckily, I have a 22 year old sister who hung out with me as well. We went to the college thingy, but it was actually filled with mostly 18 year olds who weren't technically in college yet.

But all in all, the cruise was still fun. We went to the Quiet Cove pool alot, and just sat and tanned, while sipping Bahama Mamas (shhh, my dad bought it for me...). And this cruise, I know me and my sister are planning to go parasailing together one of the days on Castaway Cay, so that should be fun!

Well this doesn't sound to good. I guess i could stay out on deck a lot more to lay out and have some drinks. But I think I'm gonna miss the activities that they have for the teens. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do for fun onboard? Hopefully it won't be too bad since it's only a 4 day and we don't have any day's at sea. But some advice about what to do at night would be great while I'm on the ship for anyone's who's been in my shoes. :confused3

When I was 18 I made an appointment to have my hair done and to get a facial, simply because I wanted to and I could because I was 18:) I wouldn't suggest it for anyone though because BOTH of the people I had were RUDE!!! and i think a lot of it had to do with my age. Maybe they didn't think i'd tip well?!? I would have tip GREAT, but they were rdue so i didn't tip them as much.

other then that, I would suggest the shows at night. Those are fun. Hanging up on the deck... having a couple drinks... playing bingo, i spent some time just walking around and taking pictures... there is a lot to do on the cruise, you just have to research a little.

Plus maybe you'll find someone around the same age as you that you can do stuff with? Good luck!

Hey Stef,
I can't wait for the cruise. I haven't really thought about packing yet, because I figure that I have a little over a week to throw everything in the suitcase, but I can't wait for us to sail off to the the Bahamas!:goodvibes Hopefully we'll be able to meet, if not at the college meet, you will most likely see me up on deck at the pool as well, since the teen events are out for this cruise. I've never tried the spa treatments, but my mom has and she did the rainforest shower (or something like that):confused3. If you have anymore advice about what to do for the lonely (not considered a teenager) passenger, I'm all ears!
